Stacy Davies' Return to the Radiowaves is a Hollywood Happening

Long, long ago, sometime between Adam and Eve discovering electricity and the early aughts, the Weekly's then-calendar editor/now-award-winning arts writer Stacy Davies had a hilarious radio show or three on KUCI-FM.

Beginning a few weeks ago, she returned to the Orange County airwaves on "Laguna's only FM," KX93.5.

Davies' show, The Hollywood Happening, is heard Sundays from 8-9 p.m., which naturally presents this question from a long ago listener of her radio work: Will former Weekling Steve Lowery again provide the voices of celebrity "guests" like Brenda Vaccaro?

"I'm going to do some REAL celeb interviews of D-listers in the furture," Davies answers, "although Lowery would not doubt be more entertaining."

Indeed, if you closed your eyes and heard Lowery's reading of "Oh, Donald," you'd swear Brenda Vaccaro was in the same room. Or was that Marlo Thomas?
