ORIGINAL POST, OCT. 19, 12:32 P.M.: The monsters at Knott's Scary Farm are paid to spook and frighten--not heckle and harass.

A guest named Nicole Cramer claims she had a "traumatizing experience" on Wednesday night when she and her three girlfriends friends were bullied by cast members for being overweight. The 31-year-old Santa Ana resident said one male employee dressed as a green witch remarked, "Why don't you go back to Jenny Craig?" Then, she said, another monster dressed as a hunchback pig circled around her while snorting.

Cramer said she talked to a manager about the incident, but he did not take down any information.

"It was really extreme," says Cramer, who was at the Buena Park theme park as part of Knott's Scary Farm's Scion Night. "This is not what people are paying for, to be insulted all night.

Since she posted her experience on the Knott's Scary Farm Facebook page, Cramer said she has received messages from several other guests saying they were also harassed for their weight or sexuality. Her post has since been removed. A Knott's representative could not be immediately reached.

"It's like, you're bullied as a kid and now you have to be bullied as an adult, too?" she said. "When did this become acceptable?"

Read her full complaint and Knott's response on the next page.

Fat pigs should expect comments like that. Drop the lard. Do you think no one notices you are carrying a tub of it?

I have worked Haunt twice, once as security and once as a maze blackout, and I can safely say you and your ilk are exactly the reason every Haunt employee reviles Scion night like the plague.  For every decent group, there's 5 groups of spoiled-rotten, self-entitled asshats.  Getting drunk in the parking lot, assaulting and insulting monsters, getting yourselves kicked out of mazes and threatening to have the blackouts throwing you out beaten up in the parking lot by your boyfriends.

All I have to say is that not only did you have that comment coming, you lucked out to get only that.  I know plenty of gay gentlemen who would knock you on your ass, female or no, for what you called him.  And if I or other security personnel had heard you call him that revolting name, we'd have bounced all four of your 'plus-sized' asses from the park before the second 'F' hit your lips (But rest assured, your feelings would have been left PERFECTLY intact).

I've worked with these people, and they're good people.  They love their jobs, and the joy of performing is what they live for.   These people take time off of their everyday jobs to entertain people, and despite all the crap they get from people like you they still give a pass to people who haul off and hit them on reflex by mistake, take their masks off to show crying children that they're just normal people, and check to see if a guest's okay if they look hurt or sick.

I've been coming to Haunt for damn near 20 years, employment there not included, and one constant remains: 9 out of 10 complaints I hear about monsters were instigated by the guest in question.

So you know what?  I sincerely hope you and your friends hold true to your threats, and don't return to Haunt.  Because I, and all the other legit Haunt fans, will not mourn your absence a single solitary second.  And if it came down to it?  I'd gladly pay every red cent your group would have each year, just to not see you come back.

And if you do come back, I hope

A) They cancel Scion night flat-out to avoid events like this.  I hope you have to pay the full ticket price, so maybe people like you will have a little more regard for your behavior besides "So what if they kick me out, I got in free for driving a Scion, Lawl".

and

B) I hope every. Single. Monster. acquires your picture, not to torment you, but to give you what you want.  I hope they ignore you.  I hope no monster tries to scare you, talk to you, or even acknowledge your presence.   You can enjoy your night worry-free, and get to enjoy all the shows and maze decorations you want, and the monsters can deal with one less rude self-entitled witch abusing them.

To all the legit Scion night guests: I'm only sorry you guys have to deal with people like this giving you a bad name.

I just heard about this. Wow! I take it this ladies name is Nicole Cramer and works at a AAA office in Santa Ana and she is very over weight.

I saw the letter she sent to Knotts, the news clip posted here and the channel 2 news real. She is not that Fat compared to so many others. I would be thankful if I was that skinny compared to what I am.

I was at the park entrance when this happened with friends around. I used the restroom near by and people were talking about that incident.  We all had the conclusion that this woman Nicole was the one who started the whole mess.  She wanted a picture, she was told no, she called the Witch a Faggot repeatedly and the rest you all know.

(I want you all to know this. Because of this woman Nicole, All of the Knott's Monsters are under Gag orders. So if you like all the fun sounds and words and such then most of it is all gone because of her. Who knows how long that will last but it's because of her intolerance of her self she has caused the Gag order)

I am 6'1 at 355lbs. I am called by doctors "morbidly obese" that is a lot worse then being called fat. I am called names on and off for whatever reason and it hurts because it's true! However, it's been my choice to not do more to get rid of the weight regardless of what I have tried or not tried. If someone said to me "go to Jenny Craig"  I would ask them to pay for it, but I sure as hell would not get upset about it. I all ready know I'm overweight.  'It's a true fact" why get upset at someone else telling me what I know.  Either I can be depressed over the name calling or just say "your right" and move on with it.

I have been coming here to knotts since I was 3 years old with my parents and friends, I am know 35 years old. I have a bunch of memorabilia also from my dead relatives or friends, so gives a crap. What the heck does that have to do with being FAT?

I have been to almost every Haunt, I have been scared to death and jiggled my way around the park pissing my self at times and even crying a few times. All because I paid to be scared! and to enjoy a night of laughing, crying, insults and a lot more stories to tell others.

I would love to dress up as a Pig and snort at other fat people.

I also know that noise the talent makes and it's not a piggy sound, it's a creepy growl or just a loud snorting noise that SO Many in the park are scared of.

I'm sorry Nicole that you think you are so fat that you need to make a point of this. It's a tragic thing when you try and make a point out of what you made your self into and make others suffer for it. You should be ashamed of your self. Your lying to your self and your lying about your story.  Why are you leaving that part out of your story Nicole? Why are you not telling the entire truth about what happened?

This is only going to go badly for you if you keep this up in the media and blogs all around the web. Your going to get so deep in this you will be humiliated in the end by your own doing.

To anyone.

Please copy and post this in every blog she has written in. You have my permission re-post this.

as a former monster my self i have been on the other side of the mask and the victim of harassment by guests that includes getting punched, kicked, slapped, hit with things and harassed verbal and sexuality and i didn't complain one bit i came back year after year for five haunts i have been called every name in the book fat, a$$ h0le, ugly, f@gg*t you know what we don't get to sue them for that and am i not mistaken isn't calling some that a hate crime ??

Everyone is a victim today (in their own mind). Recently I watched a special on UTube recently where felonious streetgang members were whining about the circumstances they found themselves in as a result of their violent criminal behavior. They portrayed themselves as the "victims". The host tried to explain to them that those victims of theirs that survived are scarred for life and they are perpetrators not victims but the prisoners couldn't seem to grasp it due to their egomaniacal sense of entitlement.

Everyone seems to be a "victim" anymore and it's the poor taxpayers who end up paying for it in one way or another... directly or indirectly. What malarky. In my day, if you sued for any reason other than a material and genuine injury: you were looked down upon by the rest of society as a fraud. Today they just get a slap of congratulations on the back for winning the "ghetto lottery."

If you don't like being called fat; eat less, exercise more, and find your entertainment somewhere other than Knott's "scaryfarm" which is populated by a lot of hormonal teens acting out. Stop whining and use some common sense.

Where in this story does it say she called the Witch a "faggot"? I just read it in someone's comment. If the person who is claiming this is the Witch, speak up. Don't hide. Otherwise you have no accountabilty.

I'm glad to hear there's a gag. Maybe the monsters will focus more on haunting, rather than insulting. Oh wait, they can't do that if they're too busy sulking. (I wonder if Universal has to resort to insults?)

Get off you high horse, ADMIT that you called the monster a "FAGOT" and stop playing a victim. Just because u have gay friend doesn't mean a thing! You still can say horrid things just because they did their job and and u felt embarrassed so u insulted them and they didn't stand for it. That fact is you are a coward. Being fat isn't a disability, I'm classified as obese and I don't play the victim. I still work out play sports, and go to school and do tech and acting in theatre. You don't know what the monsters to threw every night at Haunt. Monster are constantly insulted, punched, kicked, sexually assaulted(man and women grabbing their chest and groin) and many times nothing can be done because there are so many people. I've had my friends get out of work with busted lips, bruises, and twice black eyes because they scared a guest and they hated the fact they were scared in front if their friends and family. Being teased and scared is why we go to haunt, if you don't expect that than you're a complete idiot. Admit you're at fault, that you horribly insulted a monster that doesn't stand any one being called a "fagot". Maybe u can get a grain of self respect back. You are an awful human being. The only pity I feel for you us that you so ignorant. Wait not even that. Your a coward, hypocrite, and a sorry excuse for a human being. I'm ashamed that you are from Santa Ana. You're one of the reason this city is looked down upon.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and play devil's advocate. I see a lot of hate and bashing towards Nicole for bringing this subject to light and "ruining the experience for others". But it is my opinion that this is the fault of the people at OC Weekly. It seems that Nicole simply posted a complaint on Knott's Scary Farm's page and OC Weekly ran with it as a story. I blame them for the biased, one sided, half assed story. In my opinion, They should have done more research and attempted to get both sides of the story before they posted a story, which in turn instantly fell apart.. And it seems to me that they single handedly caused this uproar. Which does not surprise me. I have seen this several times from this publication over the last few months.                           That being said, I think this has been completely blown out of proportion. If someone called you a hot mess and insulted your eye brows, why would you continue to incite this person? You called him a name first, by your own account. So what did you expect? You already knew he was a "jerk".  You should have been a good role model for the teenagers you were with and avoided him and moved on from the situation.                                                                                                              Furthermore, Just because one employee was nasty to you and treated you a certain way does not mean they represent the entire company and their staff. If you were told to go home and write a letter of complaint, then that's what you should have done. I have been told to do the same MANY times. Most companies require written testaments so they can properly handle the situation. I think Nicole completely exaggerated the other incidents to further her own convictions. I saw that she will be on the news tonight with her story and that is really just absurd. It's time to get over it, write a yelp review like the rest of us and move on.

Two years ago at haunt I was walking through the fog and saw a group of monsters headed in my direction.  One had pieces of metal on his fingers and was snapping them at guests to scare us.  By the time we crossed paths, he snapped in my face, ended up hitting me in the mouth and busting my lip open.  He IMMEDIATELY snapped out of character, apologized a million times and got me water and offered to take me to first aid to clean up.  I made a joke out of it, told him he was just doing his job and that it was an accident, he gave me a bear hug (awesome picture) thanked me, and got back into character.  Didn't sue, didn't write a letter, didn't complain.  Haunt is designed to scare you and give you thrills.  You know what you sign up for when you BUY your ticket.

I’m sorry, but no to that. You cannot sit there and become a victim to vulgarity that you ensued. I work at Haunt, not as a monster but as Line Control. Scion night was awful. All I could conclude from the people I had to interact with was that most of them were drunk off their asses, and felt like they were more important than anyone else because they owned a Scion. That is pure bullshit. You guys got in for a lot less than the rest of our guests have, and yet it just wasn’t good enough for you. Then there’s people like you, Nicole, who go and lie for attention because, go figure, a monster was doing their job. Congratulations on it taking you 7 years to be insulted at Haunt. I’m not a monster, I stand on the side lines and hardly say a word, and even I am harassed and assaulted by the guests. Just the other day I was called ugly. So what? Don’t call being overweight a disability. I’m considered obese, and it doesn’t disable me. It is disgusting that you can stand there and speak such vulgarity to another human being, and demand that they be in trouble when they retaliate. Every employee of Haunt, not just monsters, have to undergo all of the guests crap because “they paid for it, they’re allowed.”  Two days ago, I saw a girl grope one of those pigs you mentioned. Do you know what happened when the pig came up to me and asked me to get security? I did it. Only, that stupid chick took off. You do not know what everyone else has to endure during Haunt. You are not special because you shined light on something that you caused. You do not get that righteous moment. You have yet to admit that you ensued all of it. Perhaps that wouldn’t have been said, had it not been for your comment before it. Have you thought of that?

Fun facts and advice from a monster:

1. We as monsters get hit, harassed, and sexually assualted on a nightly basis because of people like Nicole who can't just enjoy the experience. Our suppervisors try there hardest to catch the people but because of the amount of people there a lot get away and do it to other talent.

2. Sion night is not a good night for monsters because people get loaded in the parking lot then come in the park thinking they can do whatever they want because they couldn't careless if they got kicked out of the park.

3. We do this job because we love scaring and interacting with people and the people who appreciate it we will interact with, have a good time, and sometimes tease them with black comedy and they will laugh and enjoy themselves.

4. There are people who work haunt who are overweight, homosexuals, mentally disable, physically disable etc. and come from all walks of life, age, and ethnicities and we are all very accepting of who people are and don't discriminate. Haunt people are some of the nicest people that you will every meet and we are like one big happy family.

5. Stop worrying about taking pictures and live in the moment. Enjoy yourself, interact with the monsters. Don't worry about having pictures to post online because you need to show off to facebook friends.

6. If a monster is entertaining a group don't come up and ask them to take there pictures or to scare your friends or even try to scare us. It is rude and kills the experience for the group they are entertaining.

7. The rules and guidelines for taking pictures etc., amongst other things, are constantly fluctuating in order to create a good experience for guest so if a talent member ignores you don't call them a F*gg*t or get mad.

8. If you are too scared, drunk , or angry don't take it out on us and don't tell us to stop scaring you. This is our job. We know when you are scared and trying to compensate with anger isn't the way to go. Go on a ride and cool off or go in the bathroom and cool off but when you leave those areas you are free game to scare. So if Knott's scary farm is too intense and to realistic that you feel the need to fight back or you feel like you can do whatever you want because your in some fantasy world then leave the park, go drink a soda pop, and relax to some cartoons or something.

... and to Nicole. I would like to see you go to your place of work and call another employee a F*gg*t. I would like to see you call a human being a F*gg*t when they are not wearing a mask. People like you make me sick and FYI there are a lot of gay people who work DLand  so I don't think that you can go there either calling people f*gg*ts. I hope that you have learn something through my comment and I fell sorry for anyone who ever become aquantances with you.

I have yet to read all these comments, because they aren't worth my time, but they are fairly entertaining.

First off this has nothing to do with money, it has to do with standing your ground and doing what is right. I don't want anything from anyone. Again, if I had something to lie about, I probably wouldn't have used my real name.

duh.

As for being homophobic, that is even more comical. As my group totally connected with the group of gay men, that this witch harassed , calling him fat, a hot mess and La Trese Royal. Then he tried to attack him when security escorted the witch back.

let me also share with you some emails i received from other mortified guests.

This is from a young gay male:

i havent had bad experiences like what you had. on the 30th of sept i went and i was told by the witch to get on my knees and beg for a pic my friend took it and she said you got your pic and walked away. before that she walked up to me and said dont look at me and shrudged her head. i was called a band member from the undirection or whatever new boy band is out there.

yeah im sure there is more people out there but they probably think its part of the theme or whatever. but i also know the person playing the witch is a guy and he used to be the rat boy walking around with a rat and used to throw it in my face all the time. and hes suppose to be their number one actor

from another socal couple:

well let them know you have alot people behind you that had THE SAME PROBLEM and it needs to be addressed

please keep me postyed

it is wrong and we both my husband and i were made fun of by the green witch about our weight and the tricksters did too

I agree with you so much we take our daughter every yr for her bday and im done with the tradition and its sad for our family that it eas takin from us.

Dear Nicole, Im writting you this letter to appolagize to you about your experince at KNOTTS! Im a X employee from KNOTTS! I worked there from 1997 to 2005 and never ever heard of one of or cast members doing something so terrible. Im totally ashamed and very hurt to hear this. BELEIVE ME!!! Walter Knot would have terminated him in a heart beat. When i worked there EVERYONE was so kind and you would not hear of this. I guess Knotts Berry Farm is truley not the best place in the West. I moved to Barstow and have only be back once and could see that KNOTTS changed. But never would i have thought like this. I JUST WANT TO SAY I AM SO SO SORRY! It made me feel discussed and very hurt.I had to write you and appoligise. And i also im a plus size woman! Im sooo pissed !! Sincerely ...

About six years ago, I attended the same event. One particular maze was set up as an insane asylum. In a section, several skeleton-like figures designed to represent death by anorexia/bulimia were staged over toilets. A nearby "monster" approached me and said something like, "That's what you should be doing."I started crying profusely as it was hurtful and embarrassing. (I was with small-framed people I didnt know very well and that made it much more awkward as they had no idea how to react.) I did speak to a lead who was very sympathetic and apologetic. She immediately had an idea as to which employee I was referring to as they had "past incidents."

Personally, I attended Knott's Scary Farm with Ethan and a group of friends every year from 2003-2008. Then I started having knee/hip issues. In 2010 I wanted to go with our friends for our Knott's tradition. Ethan and I went to buy tickets, but before doing so I spoke with a manager to ensure that the event was handicap accessible and I would be safe (2004 our friend was tackled by a "football player" in a maze. Another year a "monster" slid down a ramp knocking a girl to the ground). The manager told me that Knott's Scary Farm is not handicap accessible, they don't ensure that you will not be knocked down or grabbed by their characters. If a person with a physical disability chooses to go, the are basically limited to the areas that are not haunted. There are cords or decorations on the ground in dark, foggy areas. Characters can grab you or your ankles to "scare" you and they are not told to be aware of the limitations of the park guests. Even then, to get to the non-haunted parts of the park you have to walk through haunted parts. I was very upset. This was a tradition I had with friends for many years and now it was another thing I could no longer due because of my disability. I emailed and tried calling another park manager and other higher ups at the park, various media outlets and organizations for people with physical disabilities in the area. Basically I either didn't hear back from people or was dismissed in a similar fashion to Nicole. It was hurtful and frustrating. I am so glad that this time the voice of the customer is being heard. It is not acceptable to discriminate, bully or harass others. By Nicole speaking up it will hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else in the future.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED MORE STORIES!!!

XOXO

This is absolutely ridiculous. Power on, Monsters! You guys put up with so much during your 30 days. Knotts, I sincerely hope you don't ruin the last few nights with this gag order. I moved away from CA years ago, I now live in Sweden. My nephews are obsessed with theme park videos on YouTube and are always begging my brother to take them to America to tour them all. The first place they want to go? Knotts Scary Farm! But that's because they want to be scared, not walk around a quiet, dark themepark. And I want to be able to take my stepson & daughter to Knotts when they're old enough - don't ruin future generations' chance to be frightened just because one woman couldn't handle it after a Monster dished it right back to her when she thought she could get away with being a "clever", insulting wretch.

Hi, I am a Haunt wife, meaning my husband works as a monster at KBF.  We have been going to Halloween Haunt for the past 9 years together, he's been working there for the past 4 and we have always had a positive experience when we went.  The monsters must always stay in character.  Always.  This can be tough at times, because sometimes a guest will take things said the wrong way and the monster isn't really able to say, "Hey, I have to stay in character and I'm playing a monster.  So, I'm going to say some mean and maybe hurtful things, but I don't really mean them.  It's all an act, see? :-)."  Now, I would think that would ruin the haunt experience for me.  So....

From my experience and knowing many monsters on a personal level (yes, there really are actual people behind the masks), they go through a lot in the way of harassment by guests.  I actually take offense to the fact that she is claiming disability just because of her weight (I'm assuming here, it doesn't say what the disability is, just that she's overweight).  You see, my husband is a US Army veteran with a legitimate disability, but you don't hear him complaining that one guest decided to jump on his back while he was doing an act on the streets while on his hands and knees, or the guy that "wanted to wrestle him" so he jumped on him and smacked my husbands head into the concrete a few times before security was able to get to him.  How about the time that someone's girlfriend got so scared that her boyfriend was threatening to wait for my husband to leave the park to stab him?

So, please, don't complain because your little feelings got butt hurt when you were told to go back to Jenny Craig after you taunted the talent by calling him a F'ing F*gg*t.  That is bigotry, my dear, and way more offensive than being called out for being fat.  So, please, do us a favor, put the fork down and just don't ever come back to Haunt.  It sounds like you may be happier at a place where they like to smile as they wipe your a**, like DLand.  Oh, yeah, and pigs go oink oink.  I used to own one, so I know.  It's too bad that you can't see the situation for what it is.  A person playing the character of a pig. I hope you're happy with yourself, you have now ruined the Haunt experience for thousands more people because now the talent is not able to speak.  I could go on for longer, but have already gone on long enough.  Hopefully, the talent gets their voice back so if they do get into an unfortunate situation where they need help from security, they can get their attention with their voices instead of worrying about having to just take the assaults brought on by the guests.

Happy Haunting to all my monster friends :-)  Hope you kill it tonight!

I went to Knotts Scary Farm and I had a great time. None of the monsters harassed or sexually assaulted me. Like many others who go to Knotts Scary Farm Nicole is just another annoying baby. It's not okay to call someone a faggot and it's not okay to say just because you're fat you have a learning disability. Your weight is not a learning disability. I have a learning disability so I know and when you say stupid crap like that it's embarrassing. Not only did she ruin the night for herself but she ruined it for all the talent working there. Some people even quit. NO MORE IDIOT PEOPLE! To the talent keep doing your job the best you can and don't quit because it will get better. You guys do a great job and you sweat your balls off in those mazes taking a lot of crap from drunks, being hit and choked and called names and even touched in a sexual way and you still do your job.

Hi! Another former Haunt monster here. I'd like to address a few things you wrote here Nicole.

 - "This was the first time I among others were bullied, harassed, humiliated and embarrassed by 'cast members'." Wow you've been going for 7 years and this is your first time being insulted? That's impressive. When I go as a guest I usually get insulted within the first half hour.

- "...I proceeded to the window right of the entrance to inform the guy working. He pretty much just said oh well, and I should go online and write a letter." That guy in the window is just a random worker. He has no idea to do in this scenario. All he was taught to do was show you pictures. Amusement parks only train employees to do one simple task, so he actually wouldn't have been any help to you. If you really needed help talk to a manager. Or go to the Information building. IT'S RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO THE PHOTOBOOTH! (And the people in the are actually trained to help you.)

- "...then the "monster" that is dressed as a hunch back pig came circling around me snorting." No way, a snorting pig? The cow says moo, the dog says woof, and the pig snorts. (And the butt hurt lady cries cause she can't take a joke.)

- "...when all of a sudden we see the same "monster" harassing another guest." Yes, that's because he's working. That'show he gets his scares.

_ "Finally a manager Alan came out to speak with us. We both told him our stories and how unacceptable this is to treat guests this way. He only said he would take care of it, didn't collect any of our information, and was very easy going about it." Guys like him hear hundreds of complaints each night. No one got hurt, so he probably didn't realize how "serious" the situation was.

- :Not to mention through EVERY maze the employees were yelling 'scions suck' 'this is kia soul night'." I'm sorry, but you're clearly over-exaggerating here. I know people who work at haunt, no one has ever mentioned yelling that. And if what you are saying is true then our bosses would have heard it really quickly and put a total end to it. There's no way that many Scion insults were said.

- "All of these incidents are clear examples of weight and disability discrimination." Um, being fat is not a disability. I'm fat cause I eat too much. It's not a disability. Same goes for you. And just for reference I'm a 230 pound female, so i know what I'm talking about.

- "People pay to get scared, not bullied." You went on Scion night. I know for a fact that it cost you less than $20 to get inside the park.

- "I will never step foot in Knotts Berry Farm again." Good, we don't want you back.

In closing I'd just like to say that you just ruined Haunt for everyone else this year. Because of YOU the monsters are not allowed to talk to the guest. Because of YOU many other people who can take a joke are having awful times at Haunt. We put up  with a lot from guests for long hours, minimum wage, and different forms of assault.

Let me tell you something about Nicole Cramer. We were best friends in middle school. I know, right? It’s SO embarrassing. I don’t even… whatever. So then in eighth grade, I started hanging out with the monsters at Knotts Scary Farm, who were totally funny but then they were silenced; Nicole was like weirdly jealous of them. Like, if I would blow her off to have a super amazing night at Knotts, she’d be like, “Why do you support them discriminating against overweight people?” And I’d be like, “Why are you so homophobic and seeking of attention?” So, then for my birthday party, which was an all-Knotts Scary Farm pool party, I was like, “Nicole, I can’t invite you, because I think you’re a lying, homophobic attention whore.” I mean I couldn’t have a homophobic attention whore at my party. There were going to be monsters that are people under their masks there with their feelings and dignity. I mean, right? She was an ATTENTION WHORE. So then her mom called my mom and started yelling at her, it was so retarded. And then she dropped off of the internet because no one would talk to her, and came back in the fall for the following haunt, all of her hair was cut off and she was totally weird. And now, I guess she’s letting media outlets and her friends fight her battles for her.

My favorite part of the letter is was this: "I will never step foot in Knotts Berry Farm again." She said that like it was a threat. She got in free that night and has-been for the last 8 years.

@YoureMom It doesn't say it because she didn't bother admitting to it and OC Weekly clearly doesn't know what JOURNALISM is. And she didn't get insulted until AFTER she called him that.  There have already been a couple of guests that were standing RIGHT THERE when it happened that have said she did call him a Faggot prior to him saying anything.

And UMM... IF you knew anything, you'd know that we only insult when we've been insulted first. Otherwise, we could care less about making fun of anyone.

And don't bring Haunts into this that are full of people that are actually considered ACTORS and they get paid ACTOR'S FEES not just minimum wage. AND they have ACTOR'S UNIONS to protect them.

Santa Ana is looked down upon because of the enormous number of Hispanics there who CHOSE to drop out of school and become criminals. That's WHY Staba Ana is looked down upon by the rest of Orange County.

@FairIsFair you understand that posting where she works is a form of bullying, right? none of the monsters names were posted, so they're not  getting heat from "fat community", nothing about her should be posted either.

@alexisyque Um, I don't think anyone plans to "sign up for" being called fat "when you BUY your ticket." What the hell are you talking about?

AllsImSayin
AllsImSayin

@amandajoye I didn't even do line control, all I did was take tickets at the front and I was harassed, too. Can't keep the douchebags out without raising prices, and Knott's really cant afford to even do that. Needless to say I don't work there anymore.

Also, I would like to add that if people keep trying to get the talent in trouble for something stupid such as this, then there won’t be a Haunt for people to go to. Everyone will become so sick of the crap that the guests give, that they just don’t come back, and no one will audition. It will all be because of people like you, Nicole, that cause such harm because they cannot accept a situation for what it was. Don’t ruin it for people.

@super40chic I know this last letter is false for several reasons. I have been employed at Haunt for many years (not willing to expose myself to any problems by revealing how long) but regardless i can say from experience that while a few mazes are hard to navigate that there is accessability for many. some do have stairs and cannot be navigated without walking through. as far as someone saying the monsters can touch, not that i have ever been made aware, i have never once been instructed that touching a guest, grabbing ankles or anything was ok. just one more reason i question how valid that last letter is.

@super40chic I don't think you're lying. I worked at Knott's and I know the last week of Oct. the monsters get antsy and more comfortable and start doing and saying more that they're not allowed to. I also know that a lot of the time its unprovoked. Most of the time, like this time, it is though. If I worked somewhere where people constantly hit me, yelled at me and insulted me I'd start calling people fat, too. People have to realize that the man/woman behind the mask goes home at the end of the night, too. The fact that you said ANYTHING rude to them means you're starting a fight. If you said that to someone walking down the street, they would have said the same thing to you, whether or not they were at work. With that being said I don't like the fact that you're being bullied over the internet. I think its disgusting that these people are exposing  where you work because it doesn't matter.

Good luck with the next few weeks. Internet people are dicks.

@super40chic if you hadn't been such a liar in your first story I might have believed these "emails." However since you have yet you admit your hate speech and the fact (yes I said fact) you started the mud slinging I am forced to think you are still just a worthless ttention whore waiting her ten minutes of fame for being a fatty. As state before put the fork down and get a life. Also please do not ever attend another Haunted event because clearly you are not nor will ever be an adult.

@super40chic All you're doing is STILL avoiding the fact that you called the guy a "faggot." You apologize and acknowledge that and you will get much more support. The fact is you're still not putting ANY blame on yourself and you feel that everyone else is wrong except you. Come off your self-entitled high horse and then we can talk.

@froggychic2010 THANK YOU! Someone other than one of us showing what we go through. I myself am only 5'3" and I'm a pretty big chick but I still get pushed around, punched, kicked, head butted, and more. Just the other night I had a little kid run up and smack me on my butt and his dad just laughed about it. Last year I had a reeeeeally drunk woman stumble through my maze with her boyfriend and her pants were literally falling half way off her butt. The BRIGHT GREEN thong was a little eyecatching, even in the dark, so I kindly walked up and told her "Sweetheart your pants are falling off, you might want to pull them up, I don't want someone to try something you know?" and she thanked me happily and pulled her pants up. I walked away to wait for more people and not even a minute later her 6'4/250lbs looking boyfriend comes charging back into the room, fist raised, yelling at me "WHY THE F*CK ARE YOU LOOKING AT MY WOMAN'S A**?! I SHOULD BEAT YOU DOWN RIGHT NOW!" and he came about 3 inches from hitting me before the Blackout behind a curtain that led to another room popped through and stopped him.

We endure more than anyone stops to realize. The fact that OC Weekly would have the nerve to post this COMPLETE CRAP without coming to us, THE MONSTERS, to understand what REALLY happened is disgusting. I hope you guys get shut down for posting half-assed written stories.

@froggychic2010 Also my boyfriend's worried to say anything at all even when a guest asks him something. This is bullshit. No one should be worried about going to there. Take off the damn gag order I'm sick of this crap.

@froggychic2010 Oh gosh what your husband went through is horrible. My boyfriend also works at Haunt and he says how rude the guests can be. Hell when he comes home so late at around 2 or 3 in the morning I worry about him. The poor guy comes home beaten up, tired and sick. The guests haven't hurt him physically but they've threaten to kick his but. He also has a side job that's worse. I wish I could do something for the talent they deserve a lot because they go through a lot and to have to hear that the street people are quitting is just horrible.

@alexisyque Never mind, I just read a lot more of the comments and it looks like Nicole wasn't as innocent as she claimed to be. Sorry to everyone involved in this crappy situation. The talent and the guests...

@AllsImSayin  @super40chic  She revealed where she worked all by herself. Are you blind? It's not hard to figure out what insurance company someone works for when she herself states her name and that she works at one. WOOOOW.
