ORIGINAL POST, SEPT. 9, 10:25 P.M. The world is slowly going around Fullerton about a fight involving Daniel Olender, 36, of La Habra on Sept. 2 just outside Heroes Bar that has now left the father of three dead--and police and family members are asking for the public's help in identifying his assailants.

There are numerous accounts circulating around town of what happened that night and who was involved, but the only published one so far came from the blog Fullerton Stories, which reported on Friday than a 36-year-old man was in critical condition after an altercation with "two juveniles." According to police, the 36-year-old brushed against the two, words were exchanged, a shove was initiated, and then one of the juveniles punched the 36-year-old so hard that he fell to the pavement, had his skull cracked, and was left in critical condition. The assailants fled the scene.

Yesterday, flyers started appearing in downtown Fullerton with the following:

WANTED
Any information on the assault
that claimed the life of our beloved son:
Daniel Olender and father of 3 minor children.
He died on his 36th birthday, after being assaulted here
in front of Heroes on Sunday morning.
9-2-12, 0100 A.M.
Anyone with information on the senseless murder,
Please call: Detective Barry Coffman @714-738-5361
Fullerton P.D.

The flyer, which the Weekly is trying to get a hold of, also featured a picture of Olender.

More details on this story as they emerge...

Yes blame the city for all of the problems. Sounds like dude got knocked out and hit his head. Probably could have avoided the situation too if he would have kept walking. If you're gonna go downtown drinking don't engage fights people.

It's not just Fullerton, that's society for you. I'm a DJ and I don't even go to 85% off those bars in DTF. Why? Because their wack! Just an alcohol fueled "pop" frenzy of wannabe Rock Stars, Princesses, douchbags & MMA enthusiasts. Just sad...

DTF has been going downhill a lot longer than most people think and here is a perfect example. Used to be civilized and a great place until hooligans started invading. My best advice is stay away.
