The Orange County District Attorney's office is investigating a bizarre shooting involving a 14-year-old boy killed by Santa Ana Police after he apparently called cops to say an armed man was in his neighborhood. Jose Rodriguez Jr. was holding a shotgun with a pistol grip when officers arrived to the 400 block of East Wisteria Place around 10:40 p.m. Thursday, and he was shot after refusing to drop the weapon, Santa Ana Police say.
