Disneyland Fireworks Exploded While Anaheim Protested Against Police Shootings=Greatest Moment in OC History!

Disney is about money. Deal with them at the business level and it is difficult on B2B level. They do not lose sleep or lose visitors over these types of actions.

As far as the shooting. If the assailants are already contained, then IT IS NOT the job of an officer to pronounce sentence over the detained. A system is in place for sentencing - "due process". To undercut that (even though it has flaws) brings on chaos - as demonstrated. People have the right to protest, but not the right to injure others or destroy the property of others. One usually only diminishes their "point", loses most of others' sympathy and closes the ears of those who might be listening with illogical actions. 

As far as carrying weapons (or doing something worse), if you do the crime, you should be willing to do the time. Myself included (when i was younger and naive), you always knew if you got caught you where going to pay the cost. No excuses. It was always the joke, need to know what the penalty of a crime, dont ask a lawyer, ask a guy off the street. If your selling drugs, an "enforcer", or  doing something of the illegal variety, no excuses. Most know a cop will shoot you, so no point putting yourself in a situation where the  probability of bodily harm increases - needlessly. <-- can argue "need" endlessly in a giant circle.

Having friends in Anaheim in not-so-good neighborhood growing up, My family, friends and I have had guns pulled on me from various gangs. I have also had Anaheim PD threaten me with bodily harm for something simple as pulling over and telling officers I could take my friends car home who didnt have a license.  Nothing racial there, the officer was Latino, same as me. In Anaheim its a culture, nothing to do with race. The problem is the majority of issues in the neighborhoods come from Latinos, and usually Latino-on-Latino crime.

We have to talk about that side of the issue as well, evenly.

Unfortunately when you have assholes vs assholes, only assholes win and lose. Again, cant go around executing people. Another bigger issue is the parenting involved. This lady is crying victim when she is part of the problem.

Some people are just out to cause problems, always been that way, always will be. Have to be honest with ourselves and not see color as the primary problem. Took a break to write on here, a topic that could go on forever. People need to relax and see what turns up and then TRY to correct the fundamental issues - and there is huge pile of them.

Lets get this straight people gangs are as American as apple pie. You guys act like this is some kind of foreign terrorist al caida or something. Gang are a result of marginalization. Hi there. FIRST all off thanks you OC weekly for giving us a needed perspective. Many people are following these events and what are we to do read the latimes which is never in the interest of the people, it doesnt serve their purpose. And yes I say the people because we are all in this together, this great experiment, this "democracy". Well guess what, those in power would like to take every right, that we have worked so long and hard far, away as quickly as possible. And WE are not gonna let that happen. SECOND: To all the self proclaimed "white" people, there is no such thing. No you didn't come from the Caucus mountains nor did your ancestors unless your Armenian, Georgian, or Russian. You are only "white" because you get a privilege to be light skinned in this country. FOR REAL! I am mixed heritage Irish and Mexican and yes I can kick your ass but besides the point I grew up in the area of LA policed by the RAMPART division. I was constantly threatened and harassed by the boyz in blue (AND TO BE CLEAR THEY ARE THE BIGGEST GANG IN THE CITY) . I would be randomly and illegally stopped because I was young and brown and for no other reason. Ive been toled by them I almost blew your brains out and they also told friends of mine I wish I couldve shot you etc. See WHITE people dont have to worry about this sort of deal so they cant even imagine what youngbrown men face on a daily basis. You guys are not harassed for being white although after AURORA I want to racial profile all loner white guys (you are so creepy and scare me now). So to all the white people please open your eyes and why not try to have some Mexican friends from the hood and youll see we really are nice guys just sometimes we are on the defensive for a lot of bullshit we get. Disneyland fireworks continue despite the city being in near-riot mode.

A $50 million lawsuit is filed 3 days after a shooting.

The profit motive is strong here in the OC.

Purely from a Disneyland Cast member standpoint, the park isn't going to cancel the fireworks that thousands of people were counting on for something that is happening down the street. We all know how much the park is charging these days, and a cancellation of the fireworks would cause a number of complaints and issues.

It's like that scene in "Brazil" when the bombings at the restaurant happen, and nobody even flinches. THEN, the restaurant covers the carnage with an accordion patrician

Why don't you look up the people hurt by Diaz and Acevedo to see how they feel?  Diaz actually carried a gun to school.  Doesn't Lieberman have school-age children in Anaheim?
