237 lbs. of Pot Seized at Border Stop
![]() |
I'd say welcome to the world of parenting 19-year-olds, but the Border Patrol pulled the Chevy over for inspection and reportedly found 47 marijuana packages weighing just over 237 pounds.
Estimated street value: $355,740.
Border Patrol officials say the pot bundles were found around 4 p.m. Thursday in the rear storage area and behind the driver and front passenger seats. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency took possession of the weed, so that'll be the Labor Day party to hit this year.
The Chevy was seized and the 19-year-old was taken into custody by the Border Patrol. His identity was not released.
