Go on, take the money and run
Be on the lookout for Hurley-hatted Mexicans.

Brea police are on the trail of a bandito around 35 to 45 years old who robbed the California Bank and Trust at 775 E. Birch St. on Monday.

And they need your help, Rosco P. Coltrane.

The suspect walked into the bank at around 5 p.m., acting as though he had a gun in his waistband, and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to Brea police.

He got away with an undetermined amount of cash and took off in a dark, 4-door sedan, and is still on the loose.

According to police, he was sporting a a dark ball cap, possibly with a Hurley logo on the
front, a gray shirt, dark jacket and blue jeans.

If you don't know him, at least crack jokes in the comments about who he looks like.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Ruben Alonzo at (714) 990-7637, or Sgt. Jim Griffin at (714) 990-7620.
