Andrea Quanita Simpson, Early Ugly Mugshot Favorite, Allegedly Sliced Up Mom with Knife
The 18-year-old, who apparently has a history of mental illness, is accused of repeatedly stabbing her mother.
Costa Mesa Police were called around 7 p.m. Friday to an apartment at 419 Hamilton St., where a friend had found 51-year-old Alice Simpson with multiple stab wounds to her chest, arms and back. She was taken to Western Medical Center Santa Ana with injuries that are not considered life threatening, according to a statement from police Lt. Mark Manley.
Responding officers discovered the mother had been in an argument with her daughter, Andrea Simpson, who allegedly stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife before fleeing the apartment.
