Lee faced more prison time when the original charges included assault for allegedly punching the then-59-year-old grandmother in the groin. Paer tossed that count when trial testimony indicated the intruder never touched the woman.
Here's what he did do: while the grandmother, who could not speak due to a stroke she'd previously suffered, was in her bedroom, and her granddaughters, then 7 and 9, were watching television in the front of the residence, Lee walked inside, went into the bathroom and, with the door open for the girls to see, stroked his manhood.
The defense argued Lee merely used the toilet after the girls had earlier played outdoors with his dog, but the prosecution convinced jurors playing with one's dog does not constitute an invitation to come into a home and expose your ween.
After a day and a half of deliberations, the jury in February found Lee guilty of first-degree residential burglary, indecent exposure after unlawful entry and child annoyance after trespass.
