Todd Spitzer and Asian Massage Parlors Have What in Common?

Todd Spitzer Grand Opening.jpg
When you hear of a "grand opening" you might think of an Asian massage parlor ad, but once and future Orange County Supervisor Todd Spitzer is taking back the phrase if only for one day.

Spitzer will celebrate the "grand opening" of his new campaign headquarters tomorrow afternoon.

And how do we know there won't be any scantily clad Asians (except, perhaps, for trusty Spitzer aide Anthony Kuo) roaming around ready to soothe your pains?

Spitzer, the party pooper, invited Sheriff Sandra Hutchens as well as three current Republican supervisors--Janet Nguyen, Bill Campbell and Pat Bates--to attend.

A former state Assemblyman and county prosecutor, Spitzer--a private attorney nowadays--is facing opposition from Deborah Pauly, the controversial, underdog Villa Park city councilwoman and 1st vice chair of the county's Republican Party central committee.

Pauly joined the race after onetime OC state Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, a much more experienced candidate, quit the race and moved to Texas to take a job. Before he left, DeVore endorsed Pauly.

In the campaign fundraising scorecard, Spitzer is banking a little more than a bazillion dollars and Pauly has a couple of dimes and a nickel.

Anyho, Spitzer's April 17th bandwagon party begins at 5:30 p.m. inside Suite 203 at 940 W. Chapman Avenue in Orange.

Why would "grand opening" remind me of an Asian massage parlor? That might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen in OC Weekly.

Where is my comment that was posted in reply to Duke? It was posted earlier now it's gone. What's up?

The massage parlor allusion is appropriate - Spitzer's a wanker ...

Really -- you read 'Grand Opening' and think 'Asian Massage Parlor' ? I usually think of car dealerships or a new Home Depot.

Hi "Jim": You're obviously not familiar with the extent of our stupidity. We celebrate it--just like you parade around in public thinking anyone cares what you think.

Um, no he's not. Todd fights relentlessly for victim's rights and has a very long list of accolades and awards from groups like MADD, Crime Survivors, and Parents of Murdered Children.

He has co-authored several victims' rights laws as well, including Marsy's Law and Megan's Law.

Todd actually "walks the walk" unlike that slimey hippocrite TRack who talks out of his back side and treats victims of crime like they are criminals.

Apparently you haven't seen the back pages, hard print of the OCWeekly.

I play a fun little game every week "Is She REALLY a Woman!?" Some are obvious (hiding the Adams Apple with a coy dip of the head) Others, with their massive breasts and female hormone injection are a little tougher to spot...it's all good though, and very entertaining :)

" Apparently you haven't seen the back pages, hard print of the OCWeekly."

There's a hard print? How much does it cost?

"Some are obvious (hiding the Adams Apple with a coy dip of the head)"I was told  at a bar that the hands are a dead giveaway. Guys just have bigger hands, proportionally.

Hi "JIm": You really are clueless, dude. Good ole Mitch was being a smart ass and, something you should learn, did so with a degree of humor. You, my boy, are as lame as the fossil cop commenter who always dates himself with his tired "birdcage" snivel.

I doubt most people would think "grand opening" = back pages of OC Weekly. Only a moron or someone who thinks there is no world beyond the OC Weekly, perhaps.

OC weekly can be found at some stores that carry those renters magazines and the like. You have to look around a little. Great for lining the birdcage.
