Commemoration of Armenian Genocide to Happen Tomorrow in Santa Ana with Film Screening

anca.jpg
While the Armenian community in Glendale gets all the attention in Southern California, a small but vibrant one has existed in Orange County for decades, centered around Irvine and Fountain Valley, with its focal point 40 Martyr's Armenian Apostolic Church in SanTana (quick aside: I once crashed a quinceañera held at their Gugasian Hall years ago, fleeing an angry dad after I schtupped his comely daughter--good times!). It's a time of mourning for Armenians worldwide, as its the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, and the OC chapter of the Armenian National Committee of America will commemorate the genocide tomorrow with a ceremony and a film screening.

The film in question is Bolis, which per the PR flackage is "a film that tells the story of a successful musician journey to Istanbul for the first time. Armenak, the musician, eventually searches for his grandfather's old musical instrument shop in an attempt to discover his past in relation to his present self." There will also be short presentations by most of the Armenian organizations in Orange County. This is a great show of Armenian solidarity in a county that's an epicenter for the Armenian genocide-denial movement in the United States, so best of luck to them.

The event will start TOMORROW at 4 p.m., at 40 Martyr's, 5315 W. McFadden Ave, SanTana, or you can find out more information at ANCA-OC's Facebook page. See you there!

Remember; First Prime Minister ofthe Independent Armenian Republic, Hovhannes Katchaznouni’s own manifesto underthe name of “Dashnagtzoutiun has nothing to do anymore” in Bucharest in April1923 (was found in Russian arhives) is saying that there was no genocide tookplace. The Armenian volunteer units were unconditionally allied with Russia, they massecred the Muslim population , Turkey had acted with an instict ofself-defence and Turks have no reason to regret today..This is the manifesto ofthe first Armenian Prime Minister in 1923. (Translated from the original byMathew A.Callender,Edited by John Roy Carlson (Arthur A.Derounian) ,publishedby the Armenian Information Service, suite 7D, 471 Park Avenue, New York 22.1955) (Note: its copies were removed from the libraries in Europe by theDashnagziun members, this document was found in Lenin Library in Moscow.)--

Armenians orpro-Armenian historians are responsible to provide evidence that shows theintent of Ottoman government to destroy Armenian ethnicity. Since the beginningof these claims, such evidence was not provided. In addition, Armenian legalauthorities did not bring this issue to the international court or none of theInternational Judicial branches recognized these acts as genocide. Because, thejudicial process requires facts and documents in order to come up with aconclusion. Otherwise, the case stands as: “Your word to my word”

In addition, Malta trials by British government is greatexample in order to show the lack of evidence. During those days, over 70Ottoman government officials were arrested on charges of “Committing Genocideon Armenian people” and taken to the Malta Island. British investigatorssearched Ottoman government archives during the days of British invasion inIstanbul (around 5 years) and couldn’t find any evidence to support theirclaims. Finally, Turkish officials were released and brought back to Turkey.

Today, around 20 countries that recognized the relocationin 1915 as ‘genocide’ have no historical basis. They did not create anyhistorical commission to investigate the issue or invite Turkish government topresent their position. They declared defendant as guilty on the evidence (inthis case, evidence is grandparents’ diaries) of prosecution alone. What ademocracy!

How about the quotes from Joseph Stalin where stated as: “The agents ofthe Allied Powers are exaggerating Turkey’s campaign in Transcaucasia, take iteasy.” In the rest of the documents, he points out the large scale Armenianrevolt against Ottoman military camping before the relocation. In past coupleyears,  historian M.Perincek and his studies in Russia broughtsignificant evidence from Bolshevik archives. http://armenians-1915.blogspot...

Arguing with a man who has renounced reason is like administering medicine to the dead.  You too will meet your maker one day and I hope he jams his rod up your ass.

Let's not forget how Armenia gave guns to Shiite Militants in Iraq to kill US Soldiers and the 150 million Medicare Fraud scheme by Armos in Glendale. I am starting to believe that Greed is part of the Armo mentality. They tried to snitch a huge chunk of land from Turkey and got the cahoneys kicked out of them and they are squirming about a so-called genocide. Why don't they open their archives, seriously?

To begin with, what's insulting is that this article is categorized as "The Hilarious Haters". What a poor choice! OC Weekly should be ashamed of itself. Instead of respecting the memory of victims and those who survived the torturous experience of losing family, homes and whole villages and towns, you treat is as something to make fun of... How desrespectful of the memory of 1.5 million.

MPA: You can look up my writing on the Genocide--not only do I commemorate the victims, but I go after its deniers with a vengeance. I put this under the Hilarious Haters category the same reason why I put anything about the Holocaust there.

Doesn't Santa Ana have enough problems without inviting tons of smelly, hairy cave dwellers from Glendale infesting the city with their welfare fraud and salvaged titled BMWs? Let's also not forget their rude and arrogant behavior. It's no wonder the Turks had it in for them.
