Documentary Shows Scientology Protesters Up Close

So I got my man hands on a documentary about Anonymous, the group that protests Scientology orgs around the world.

The roughly 37-minute film was produced by local college students for a class project, and focuses on protests at the church's Los Angeles headquarters.

People wearing Guy Fawkes masks, others dancing to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up", and a woman with a sign on her that reads: 'not fat...I still have dead thetans stuck on my ass'--it's all there!

But it's not here, on your infernal rag's website. Yet. The filmmakers want to blur out the faces of Anonymous members.

Hopefully, we'll have it up soon. In the meantime, here's some quotes from protesters the in documentary:

"And suddenly you find that the problem is not with you, it's not with anything from your lifetime. It's because 75 million years ago, Earth was known as Tegiac and an evil overlord named Xenu stuffed us in a volcano and blew us up with hydrogen bombs far more powerful than we have today. And that's why we're screwed up."

"I'd suggest to the young Sea Org members who have signed billion year contracts, I'd suggest that they go out and chase some skirts while there's still time."

"I want my daughter back."

Hello Josh, any updates on when we can see the film?

OC org is gross, depressing. Not exaggerating. Its pathetic, in every sense of the word. The staff is smelly. Bad breath, dirty fingernails. One staff member was late to course one day because his 20 year old car stalled out...he did not have enough gas, or money for it. He had to run to course the last 2 miles or so. The org wouldn't help, until payday, 2 days away, where he would get another $50 check for the entire week.  Brainwashing is alive and well, people. WAKE UP TEEGEEACKLINGS!

Thanks for the heads up! I love these protesters.

I'm sure the parent was not wearing a mask when she spoke up because most of the participating parents come straight out and protest the church and how it's disconnection policy has destroyed heir family . Most protesters, however, do wear masks when laws allow. The use of masks and the blurring of the faces comes because of important reasons which, I am certain, the filmakers will reveal when the documentary comes out.

People need to know what all this is about. Google Project Chanology while awaiting the documentary.

A comment from Karin Pouw would be nice. If anything, maybe she could answer if the people on Teegeeack were called Teegeeackians or Teegeeackites. Roll film.

Looking forward to the documentary, and just for posterity it is spelled Teegeeack. It just looks stupid spelled the other way. ;-)

I'm looking forward to seeing the documentary. The protesters are doing a great service by letting ex-Scilons know that it's ok to speak up, and by letting those still on the inside that there's life outside of the cult. When a cult member sees someone criticizing the church, even if its a protester, they are a bit more likely to permit themselves to do the same.

I've raided the OC org with socalanons. It's hot. The building is like one of those 60s medical office groups, only full of weeds and empty of cars. Peeling paint, dying plants, few customers...but they do have a nice sign out front.

BTW, Happy L. Ron Hubbard Birfday!
