Celebrate Valentine's Day in OC by Getting "Married" to Same-Sex Partner Today

​It's Valentine's Day, and some folks feel couples should go to the Old Orange County Courthouse in downtown Santa Ana this afternoon to get married.

That is, they should get hitched to their same-sex partners.

As part of a statewide action aimed at pressing the gay marriage issue following a federal appeals court ruling striking down Prop. 8, same-sex couples are being urged to go to county officials this afternoon and request marriage licenses.
