Chuck having lung cancer came as a shock to me. I had checked just this morning to see about joining the church in a trip to Israel. I knew he had skin cancer about a year and a half ago. I was part of his church in the old chapel when Frisbie and Love Song were there. It is sad to see such ugly detractors attack such a MAN OF GOD. I hope god forgives you because I find it too difficult to do. Get your lives right.

I have a great life, lots of fun and many friends and family who I enjoy a lot, successful in business, successful in training (MMA, personal fitness, shooting, etc) and attend a healthy church, read the bible voraciously etc etc.

I am calling out sin and wrongdoing in Camp Calvary Chapel, and whether you agree or not, Chuck Smith has some responsibility as the Spiritual Leader of Calvary Chapel who has spawned 2,000 Positions of Trust in the form of Calvary Chapel Pastor. Our Governing Authority (Romans 13:1, look it up) seems to agree in the Court System over the last 5 years with the Mormon and Catholic churches losing huge lawsuits due to child abuse and molestation in their Camps.

Chuck is currently in a lawsuit for 4 boys that got molested in the Calvary Chapel System. The warning signs and knowledge that a volunteer/employ of Calvary Chapel had a history of pedophilia was ignored by Calvary Chapel and no checks and balances were in place to stop the man from molesting 4 more boys after it was known within Calvary Chapel.

Chuck is wrong for his "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" approach when it comes to protecting his priests, err, Calvary Chapel "affiliate" Pastors (made "official" by CCOF the licensing arm of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and Chuck Smith).

Yet, Chuck Smith has the gall to call down God's judgment on the abuse victim and whistle-blower...and then he gets lung cancer.
