Unidentified Man, OC Homicide No. 69: Stabbed Near River Trail

​Anaheim Police were called this morning to the Santa Ana River Trail between Tustin and Lakeview avenues this morning to investigate a man down.

Officers and paramedics who responded to the 6:15 a.m. call discovered a dead, middle-aged man who had been stabbed at least once.

Presumed to be a transient, the man has not yet been identified. Also unknown is his attacker or attackers. Anyone with information that can help homicide investigators is asked to call Anaheim Police at 714.765.1900.

Meanwhile, the river trail remains closed to foot and bicycle traffic.
