The non-profit organization The Trevor Project, which provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youth, recently partnered with Disney to produce another of the popular videos for the It Gets Better Project.

Learn more about the video, and give it a watch, after the jump.

Founded in 1998, The Trevor Project has targeted bullying and bigotry. And while the organization was originally founded on its support for the LGBT community, in recent years their goal has become broader, going after general ignorance and intolerance.

The It Gets Better Project was cofounded last year by author Dan Savage and Terry Miller, Savage's husband. The internet-based project has been widely popular since its debut, particularly with its viral and often celebrity-filled "It Gets Better" video series.

This past May, the religious right were upset (big shock) when Woody of "Toy Story" fame showed up in a Google Chrome "It Gets Better" video. Learn more about that ridiculousness here.

Like Google Chrome, Disney has joined the campaign against bullying and intolerance with their own "It Gets Better" video. The video features Disney employees offering words of encouragement and advice to victims of bullying.

Appearing in the video is Disneyland Resort President George Kalogridis, Imaginners Eric Jacobson, Lis Girolami and Bruce Vaughn, and numerous other Cast Members who share their own personal stories of being a victim of bullying.

Pixar released a similar video last year. Check it out here:

Wow, Disney really DOES believe in fairies! :D

Fuck... you're such a tool.

Gee, I hear the word "fairy" and other euphemisms referring to gays being flung about for laughs on shows like "Will and Grace". Am I not allowed to do the same, just because I'm not an actor and I'm not gay?

Buy yourself a sense of humor, dude.

Fuck... you're STILL such a tool.

I love seeing these videos, they always make me cry. I'm so happy that Disney has decided to support It Gets Better.

What I want to know, is why they only defend/help kids who are gay/lesbian? What about the millions of bullied kids who aren't? And I thought you all wanted "equal" treatment?

Shazbot
Shazbot

No, they don't want equal treatment; they just want entire institutions, like marriage, to be changed for their benefit, and meanwhile not allow anyone else to have a say in it, as per a fair vote at the ballot box. Because, after all, some people are  more equal than others.

Civil rights are not subject to voter approval.

Civil marriage isn't an institution, either; it's a contract between two consenting adults. You're thinking of religious marriage, which is unaffected by whether same-sex couples can enter into a valid civil contract.

Sorry you're having trouble distinguishing the two.

First, like most of the asshats in any given comments section, you talk big shit for a little man who hides behind a FAKE NAME. Again, grow a pair. Man up. Say who you are and scream your bigotry from the roof of wherever you live. Or just continue to hide behind the safety of a computer monitor like the rest of the trolls out there.

Second, I don't parrot anything. I'm LEFT of the fucking left, SHAZBOT. Liberals aren't liberal ENOUGH in my opinion. I'm a card-carrying, angry-as-fuck progressive, so you can hold your "typical lefty" shit.

Third: "...that between male and female, the only sexual bond, BTW, that nature regards as significant."

Well, since it's the only thing that NATURE regards as significant, then we may as well adhere to it from here until forever, right? Gimme a fucking break. Update: NATURE DOESN'T CARE AND GOD IS FAKE.

Here's an idea: How about we all stop worrying about what other people should do with their private lives and concentrate on our own private lives? I'm sure if you spilled your private life out on the table for all to see, I could find many things that I'd disagree with. But you know what? All of that shit is YOUR PRIVATE AND PERSONAL PROBLEMS. What do I care who you fuck, who you love, who you jerk off to? I don't. And neither should you about other people.

How you can even think that marriage is anything BUT a civil liberty, and how it should be extended to all living humans regardless of race, sex, or sexual preference, is beyond me. But hey, to each their own, right? Because like I've said to many people before who are against gay marriage: Eventually, gay marriage will become legal in every state, because history and time is on its side. And people like you, once your dinosaur beliefs become nothing more than a bad and antiquated punchline, will be remembered only as the villains.

May you live long enough to see that day, Shazbot.

"Marriage is bullshit".

That's almost as stupid as equating gay marriage with the civil rights movement. A lot of black Americans don't appreciate that comparisons. I guess in your mind they're bigots too. Yeesh.

Depends on what you regard as "civil rights". Since when is marriage a "civil right"?

Marriage was created to celebrate, legalize and in some cases sanctify a particular relationship - that between male and female, the only sexual bond, BTW, that nature regards as significant. Marriage is the cornerstone of heterosexual culture AND the foundation of societies both ancient and modern. When gays try to take that rite (look closely at the spelling in this case, please) and twist it to suit themselves, then have the GALL to label and censure people who object to that, whose rights are really being stepped on here? Sorry you have difficulty grasping that. Try thinking for yourself instead of parroting the lies of the left.

"Marriage is bullshit"

Well, we can agree on that.

Shady

Marriage is bullshit. Like straight people have done such a great job with it so far. How many straight people do you know who are divorced, cheating on their spouses, or have been cheated on? Give me a fucking break.

You can bark on and on and on about the legalities of it all, but what it really comes down to is that you're a bigot. Period. Don't try and hide behind some other "logic." I'd have more respect for you if all of you idiots just grew a fucking pair and said the truth: I HATE GAY PEOPLE.When we passed the 19th Amendment allowing women to vote, did that give women MORE than their equal rights? Or what about the Voting Rights Act of 1965 which allowed African Americans to participate in the American political process? Was THAT special treatment? No. It was bringing them up and leveling the playing field, not bringing others down.Sadly, the intolerance and bigotry on this page isn't shocking; mostly because you trolls clearly have nothing better to do than lurk around a post board, dropping ignorant comments for all to see. After all, it's LITERALLY ALL YOU DO with your day.

You're undermining your own case there, as there are all sort of contracts that government prevents people from entering into. You can't, for example, sell yourself into slavery or indentured servitude. Further, if marriage is a contract, why is it limited to two people? Business partnerships can be 2-3 or many people.

Clearly, you missed this entire paragraph: "Founded in 1998, The Trevor Project has targeted bullying and bigotry. And while the organization was originally founded on its support for the LGBT community, in recent years their goal has become broader, going after general ignorance and intolerance."
