Blood Donors Urgently Needed For Deputy's Prematurely Born Baby

• We are hosting a Blood Drive at the Sheriffs Department on January 25. The Red Cross will send blood to the hospital in the name of Aiden Viramontes if you need to donate and can not get to the Whittier Hospital. Thank You all - I have spoken with Juan Viramontes and he is ok with this.

• Donating blood a few times a year is a great way to serve your community.  My thoughts and prayers to the family and the baby.

• Preemies are born all day every day. Will you be posting calls for blood donors when "ordinary" people need it as well?
