The Orange County Sheriff's Department is reaching out to the public to help find a man who robbed and roughed up an 88-year-old woman who'd returned to her Tustin area home after making a bank withdrawal on Nov. 22. He is described as a clean-cut Hispanic, 5-foot-6, 150 lbs. with short black hair. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a gray sweatshirt with three dark stripes on the sleeves and one horizontal dark stripe on the chest. He wore a collared shirt under his sweatshirt.

A short time after the elderly women withdrew $2,400 from inside the Wells Fargo at Newport Avenue and Fourth Street in Tustin around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 22, she drove back to her home in an unincorporated area of Tustin.

While opening the gate to her courtyard, she was hit from behind and robbed. If anyone recognizes who deputies call "the person of interest" in the photo below, please call sheriff's Investigator D. Bloom at 714.647.7064 or call Crime Stoppers at 1.855.TIP.OCCS.
