Lincoln Club of Orange County Proposes "Legalization" Path For Illegal Immigrants: Permanent Serfdom for Mexicans

Illegals need to become legals !

I don't see any suggestions of amnesty for those illegals already here, in the Lincoln Club proposal so that goes a long way in resolving my concerns.  Frankly, the three point they made; sealing the border, guest worker program and making sure employers are not hiring ilegals all make sense.  Any way you slice the loaf folks, the kind of Americans it would take to do the back breaking work in the fields, at the car washes and other tough manual labor positions are nonexistent.  The only way you could even get a few of those positions filed by Americans is to cut off welfare and force those recipients to do the jobs.  A strong and well managed Guest Worker Program would solve a lot of issues.  Such a program could even be designed as an expedited path to legal citizenship in the United States.  Too bad one or more of the Republican Presidential candidates haven't already thought of and adomted such a plan. 

It’s morally correct to lookafter our own suffering people first, as we have no obligation to foreigners,no matter their motherland? We have thousands of homeless veterans, left towander in our streets; even single mothers with children, the sick andunwanted. We have our own share of poverty, without being responsible to peoplewho have already scorned our laws. If Pro-illegal immigrant activists thinkthey can intimidate pro-sovereignty entities, as akin to the Dept of IN-Justiceis performing the same restraints against Arizona, Alabama, Georgia, Indianaand South Carolina—they are poorly mistaken—as there is a building strengtheningmajority of every walk of life, every American, called the TEA PARTY.

Most Americans respect people whofollow the law, but just appearing and asking for handouts—forget it. Even thehighest of skilled occupations, must be vetted through FBI, physical andprevious employment examinations, sometimes waiting years. Those who illegalcross borders, fly in and overstay have no reverence for our countries people.What is happening right now and adding to our own unemployed is people escapingpoverty, the drug dealers and criminals.  

In the Austin Daily Heraldreports: "There are rumors people are losing their jobs at local plants aswell, due to increased hiring scrutiny amid federal immigration programs.Displaced workers who fear being fired and/or deported are going to Arcadia,Wis., to work for the Ashley Furniture plant or to Postville, Iowa, or St.Joseph, Mo., to work at other meat processing plants." Companies that havealready violated ICE audits and prosecuted, have seen a large increase ofregular Americans and lawful residents, lining-up for jobs—as illegal workersrun off.

Out of work Americans and patrioticcitizens and residents can speed up this exodus, by promoting the E-Verifymandatory enforcement program, especially if President Obama signs a newdirective for a job program in ‘Construction.’ These jobs should be goingdirectly to unemployed workers in these particular occupations. This is the Washington switchboard that can direct you toall House Representatives responsible for moving Chairman Lamar Smith's‘Legal Workforce Act’ (bill H.R.2885)to the house floor. Especially confront the new members sentto Congress by the TEA PARTY.  Become a TEA PARTY member and see what you cando to halt this economic mess, with billions of dollars annually going as freepublic assistance, to illegal aliens who break our laws. The TEA PARTY willenforce our immigration laws and construct the fence(s) as originally enactedin 2006.  Thousands of Hispanics havejoined the TEA PARTY, whose families go back generations. Only the householdsthat have something to hide are moving towards the Obama administration. People,who respect the laws of the land, have no commitment to illegal immigration andare adamantly opposed to even their own race, color, faith if they broke thelaw.

Smith's Legal Workforce Act (H.R.2885)would require 100% of companies—large and small-- to use E-Verify for all newhires within 2 years. This bill would also require all federal, state, andlocal agencies as well as federal and state contractors/ sub-contractors andcritical infrastructure sites to use E-Verify within 6 months. Increaseemployer penalties and fines for knowingly hiring illegal alien workers.Require the Social Security Administration to send no-match letters toemployers if a current employee's name and social security number don't matchin their system. Require the Social Security Administration to notify owners ofa Social Security number if their number is used multiple times.

The old lethargic propaganda from the Left side of the aisle, thatAmericans will not do dirty jobs—is a big fallacy—it’s about good wages andbenefits. Young men are rushing to North Dakota for drilling operations in anoil bonanza, because they are earning a 100 grand annually. They have created30.000 jobs and people can get some of the action. It’s cold and dirty work,but nobody is complaining.  

Remember Liberals, Democrats and Republicans will concoct any rhetoric,to dislodge any candidates, other than their own chosen favorite. Democratswill manipulate voting using such unpalatable organizations, as ACORN. Theactivists that run this group, is re-organizing under a different name in NewYork. Previously they were hiring persons of ill-repute, to register anybodywho could sign their name—non-citizens and illegal aliens. Most American stateshave poor laws respecting the citizens right to vote and Arizona is noexception. With overwhelming numbers of illegal aliens in occupancy, the StateSenator who was recalled could have been compromised. Having only to show twopieces of personal ID, such as a utility or water bill, could be manufacturedon any computer. With the hasty arrival of the 2012 election, state voters mustdemand a picture ID, with proof-positive that the owner is a US citizen. 

The name of the game from both sides is money and power. More votes forthe Liberal Progressives, hidden away under the Democratic veil.  Elitist Republicans like the way things onthe beltway, as they have always been. Both parties will reclaim the ‘Pork’ andthe special interests with the money bundler’s and the never ending stream offinancial engineers from ‘K’ Street lobbyists. Only the TEA PARTY establishedas a majority in the Senate or House can return America to it principlefoundations as written into law by our founding fathers.

The Lincoln Club's idea is politically unsustainable, unoriginal, and without a snowballs chance in hell of succeeding.

Fair? Nope. Designed to keep immigrants in subjugation? Yeah, probably. Designed to exploit the immigrant population for the benefit of los ricos?  No doubt.  But as one who works almost daily with the undocumented here in sandland (AZ), I think there would be many of the undocumented population who would say, bring it on. They are tired of hiding in the shadows and worrying that they will not have enough to bond out if la migra takes them, or their mother, father, etc. Not a good resolution, but maybe a step toward some lower level of sanity.

Aside from the 'exploitative bracero' part (no one held a gun to braceros heads)  I agree with Klavito. These establishment Republicans are real POS's, complaining about taxes and Democrats and then hiring lawn guys are going to carwashero places. Hint, guys, that dude waving the leaf blower around for 10 minutes has a wife at home who is *less* likely than yours to be working. She and her kids are consuming *way* more taxes than the family can pay on the under-the-table wages you pay them. That's why, despite our sales tax being 25% higher than 2 decades ago, the state is still broke. If you are paying  an illegal lawn guy or carwashero or 'nanny', you have no reason to complain.

Considering the good ol boys at the Lincoln Club, I would suggest that their philosophy doesn't extend as far as trying to cultivate votes for the Republican Party.  My opinion is that it is strictly a financial, dollars in the pocket motivation.  They and their friends are up to their ears in business interests which exploit cheap illegal labor.  Frankly, they don't want to give that up.  I do agree with them on the Guest Worker Program, which needs to be brought back and expanded.  Keep in mind that these are the same Republicans who have propped up the Agranistas at the Great Park, looking the other way to the gross mismanagement and corruption, solely for the purpose of feeding at the trough themselves.  It is people like this who have helped destroy the Republican Party in Orange County.
