Halloween Time may officially be over at Disneyland (other than the Haunted Mansion's The Nightmare Before Christmas makeover that runs through the rest of the year), but all of the pumpkins will soon be replaced by tinsel when the park's holiday season officially bows on November 14.

Learn what parkgoers can expect this year after the jump.

Mickey's Toon Town will welcome an 18-foot Christmas tree (or "holiday tree" for those offended by such ridiculous things) to the town square. Across the way in Fantasyland, a new animated sequence titled "The Magic, The Memories and You!" will debut on the facade of it's a small world.

Even though it's not my favorite ride in the park, the animated sequences they come up with to project on its exterior are always impressive. The ride is currently closed for installation of the holiday overlay, but will reopen on November 11.

Disneyland's annual holiday parade returns this year, as does the icicle lighting of Sleeping Beauty's Castle and the live reindeer at Big Thunder Ranch. On Thanksgiving (November 24), Pirates of the Caribbean and the Blue Bayou restaurant will finally reopen after a months-long renovation.

Across the way in Disney California Adventure, Prep & Landing--a series of animated TV specials from Walt Disney Animation that first debuted in 2009, continued on with a sequel in 2010, and returns again this holiday season with its third installment titled "Naughty vs. Nice"--will make an appearance in World of Color. The new sequence will be added to the fountain show, which debuted in the park last year.

Also in California Adventure, Ariel's Undersea Adventure will get a holiday-themed facelift when the dark ride gets a slew of decorations put up throughout.

Paradise Pier
will also welcome Santa Claus this year when he takes over the gazebo to greet guests and offer up photo opportunities with little ones.
