A 23-year-old woman who resided in Anaheim while attending university in Riverside died after falling while snowboarding at Mtn. High resort in Wrightwood Sunday afternoon.

After the accident, Angelique Deleon was taken to Community Hospital of San Bernardino, where she was pronounced dead from her injuries at 5:25 p.m.
Coroner's Deputy Mark Johnson tells LA Weekly's Dennis Romero that the UC Riverside student had ridden a few successful runs before the mishap, which apparently had her falling forward and tumbling head-over-heels.

It's believed Deleon suffered internal injuries.
