2011 Bob Dornan Scary OC Hall of Fame Inductee: Barbara Coe!

No one except Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-Friend of the Taliban) in Orange County history has consistently proven to be scarier over a longer period of time than California Coalition for Immigration Reform head Barbara Coe--and even Dana has had flashes of sanity in his Bedlam brain. Shit, even Bob Dornan, for whom this prestigious award is named after, was right on more things than Coe, if only because he ran against Dana last decade (the scariest of my scariest is my...friend?).

But Babs? Pure, unadulterated scary.

Coe started her career with the Anaheim Police Department, getting let go for obsessing too much about illegals. She also claims said illegals killed her friend (or was it that they took away her friend's benefits? She's lying on some end), which spurred her into creating the California Coalition for Immigration Reform. They, of course, begat Proposition 187, the 1994 anti-Mexican resolution that states and municipalities have lamely tried to copy since.

The courts found Prop. 187 unconstitutional, but that never stopped Coe from exerting her evil influence. Many noxious individuals have sprung from her coven--Orly Taitz, Harald Martin, Allan Mansoor, Lupe Moreno, Jim Gilchrist (before Jim found the light and became one of her most bitter enemies), Ezola Foster, and so many more, a who's who of Know Nothings and pendejos. Coe has also evolved from just hating Mexicans to also trashing Muslims, gays, Sikhs, Asians--essentially anyone who isn't white and in their mid-50s and beyond.

Oh, and we can't forget the time she wished swine flu on President Obama. Congrats, Babs: the only thing scarier than you is the cigarette butts you leave littered wherever you go! How apt that the only thing that ever brushes her lips these days is the epitome of ugly, toxic death.
