Javier Enrique Perez Gets 30 Years of Potential Inmate Penetration for Ramming Toy Lightsaber Up 9-Year-Old Boy's Butt

Javier Enrique Perez, 19, of Riverside, was sentenced today to 30 years to life in state prison for using an 8-year-old boy's hand to ram a toy lightsaber up a 9-year-old boy's butt.

Given his age and appearance in this booking photo, one suspects Perez's future behind bars will be filled with things being shoved up his own ass.

A jury in May found Perez, who was 16 at the time of the crime but tried as an adult, guilty of one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object by force, one felony count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and two felony counts of forcible lewd acts on a child under 14 with sentencing enhancements for lewd acts on multiple children and substantial sexual conduct with a child.

Perez was hanging out with several children at a Santa Ana home the evening of July 16, 2008, when the 9-year-old boy was dropped off by his mother on her way to work. While other boys watched, Perez pushed the 9-year-old over the kitchen table, held the boy down and forced an 8-year-old boy to anally penetrate the 9-year-old with his hand.

Perez then switched over to the Star Wars-style lightsaber as the boy screamed and writhed in pain. Both boys testified during trial that the boy whose hand was taken over by the teen yelled, "Stop! You're hurting him!" Perez had told all the youths present not to say anything to adults about what had happened.

Santa Ana's Oscar Antoniel Arreola, who was 19 at the time and 22 now, initially denied to police that any crime had been committed by Perez. He was later charged and pleaded guilty on Jan. 19, 2009, to one felony count of accessory after the fact and was sentenced to 180 days in jail and three years of formal probation.

This was child sexual abuse and well deserving of a 30 years to life imprisonment term. That boy, due to such an assault on his little body, mind and soul will haunt and effect him for the rest of his life. Maybe, but hopefully not, turn him into a violent, unfeeling, heartless felon, like his victimizer. Maybe this new convict thought at the time he anally raped that poor kid with a Toy Lightsaber it was funny, or an unauthorized punishment or thought he would get a sexual thrill with an innocent kid. It maybe certain that his fellow inmates, who hate child molesters with murderous fervor, may feel the same with this bad and misguided convicted pervert. Their punishment will be worst than what the courts could give. As one Kentucky state Prison inmate once said, with regards to young pedophiles like Perez, "I like booty!" Perez and others who criminally abuse children have earned such justice.

Ok, All be it a wrong action on his part. This is over the top. 30 years he should have been tried as a minor. I am actually sorry to be on the rapers' side but the crime happened while he was 16. The court systems are getting a little ridiculous. 30 years from age 16 and he wasn't sentenced till 19 so he will be almost 50 if he does all the time for a little sodomy. I think that if it was done to a girl the sentence would have been lighter. What he did was wrong in every way. The courts response was over the top though. IF tried as an adult maybe 5 years would have been more reasonable. But 30 years for being an assh**e in his youth is ridiculous.
