Snaps photos with tongue; gets commission

In California, would-be Realtors have to pass an examination to obtain a valuable, state-issued license.

But there is no requirement that practicing Realtors know a damn thing about how to activate a camera.

Or how to take a decent photograph.

This fact can have tragic if hilarious consequences for homeowners trying to sell their Orange County/Long Beach properties.

There were plenty of nominations but here are this weekend's horrible home for sale photo winners:

This photo and the other two below are being used to sell a Long Beach home for $440,000.

Inviting?

It's unclear if the oats, dirty dishes and full trash can are included in the mortgage.

If someone is not taking his job seriously, someone is giving a nice piece of joke for a laugh. The brighter side is at least some of us still have a good sense of humor. Or someone is using reverse psychology the wrong way. There are many possibilities for this oddity. For whatever reason, these images may be part of a marketing strategy: if you buy this house, little improvements can certainly make it a lot more appealing.

This photo is accurate. I have lived in Santa Ana for over 110 years. Most of our homes look like this.
