Octomom Nadya Suleman Whopper of the Month: Dr. Kamrava Drugged Me into Having 8 Babies

A new month, a new whopper from Octomom Nadya Suleman.

Having formerly defended her fertility doctor Michael Kamrava, the Beverly Hills physician stripped of his medical license on July 1, now La Habra's single mother of 14 is saying Doc Mike drugged her into signing the consent form that led to 12 embryos being implanted inside her and the "Octomom character" being media-created around her.

Nads makes the assertion during the HLN interview with Dr. Drew Pinsky previewed here last week.

Suleman concedes she wanted more children, just not eight more like the then mother-of-six gave birth to in January 2009 following in-vitro fertilization supervised by Kamrava.

Damn media parodies.
"He wrote something, he gave it to me to sign," Suleman told Pinsky, adding she was under the influence of "a cocktail of drugs"--including Valium that the Beverly Hills physician gave her because her uterus was contracting. "I signed it, and I didn't read it." She mentioned elsewhere during the interview that there was no way she could have understood what was on the consent form.

The California Medical Board report that led to the suspension of Kamrava's license states the doctor felt the implantation was driven "by the patient's wishes." She understood what was going on enough for this fact to have come out during board hearings: Suleman still has 29 frozen embryos in storage (although she now claims she wants no more children and can't stand being around babies).

Besides going into the bit reported here before--that having all those children fills an emotional void in her caused by her own parents--she told Pinsky she must brush away the Octomom character--a "parody without permission," she calls it--for the sake of the wee ones.

The parody, she claims, has produced female stalkers and "hundreds of death threats," some of which, she contends, have targeted her children.

Suleman also utters the most truthful thing she's ever uttered in an interview: "I am hated in my hometown."
