Man in his 40s, OC Homicide No. 33: Shot in Anaheim Alley

​Anaheim Police believe a man in his 40s was sitting in a vehicle in the east alley of the 1300 block of North Lawrence Avenue around 6 p.m. Saturday when he was shot to death.

He has not been identified pending notification on next of kin.

A call came into the department at 6:32 p.m. that a shooting victim had been brought into the emergency room of Anaheim Regional Medical Center. The man, who'd been shot in the chest, was transferred to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead.
