Jason Edward Graham's Cut Hand Leads to His Arrest for Attack at Killarney's Pub on Main Street HB
That's what happened to an unidentified man of undisclosed age early Monday at Killarney's Pub on Main Street in Huntington Beach: a patron smashed a drinking glass into the lad's grill, causing much bleeding and a severe laceration.
Others at the watering hole managed to flag down a passing Huntington Beach Police foot beat officer around 12:20 a.m. As the victim was treated by Huntington Beach Fire personnel and later taken to Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, the cop was told the attacker cut his hand before bolting out the back door of the pub at 209 Main St.
A trail of blood was followed from the alley behind the pub up Fifth Street before it ended.
As the victim was being interviewed at Hoag by cops, another man came into the emergency room around 1 a.m. with a severe cut to his hand. Officers put two and cuts together and determined this must be the attacker.
After Jason Edward Graham received treatment to his hand at Hoag, the 28-year-old Huntington Beach resident was booked into Huntington Beach Jail on an assault with a deadly weapon charge.
