Crystal Cathedral Mess Gets on Which Way, L.A.?

​As Clockwork Coker reported yesterday, my (and Patty's and Chasen's) alma mater, Chapman University, want to buy the Crystal Cathedral--a beautiful proposal, given that the Rev. Robert Schuller set in motion the paranoid conservative politics that Chapman University now pride themselves on. It's attracting worldwide attention, enough so that KCRW-FM's 89.9 Which Way, L.A. public affairs show devoted a big chunk to the scandal yesterday.

Yours truly was part of the panel, giving the long view on the Crystal Cathedral; Deepa Bharath, the Orange County Register reporter that has kicked everyone's ass in reporting the story, was also on, along with a reporter for the Los Angeles Times and an architecture critic who was great. Enjoy!
