10 Reasons to Love Ron Paul 2012

• The one thing about Ron Paul is that he is committed to what he believes and is out to help the average guy -- which is more than you can say about many of the people "serving" us in Washington DC.  In fact, many of our representatives seem to fit this:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MZCHjGkTPg&feature=related  The really sad part is that as we a  culture allow the media to sell us candidates the more likely political psychopaths will come to power.

• Please please please Mr. Paul in 2012 for Republican Nom and President. He is the only candidate who would do EXACTLY what he has preached/campaigned on, as his 22  year track record strongly supports. Mr. Paul’s platform “creates jobs!” Mr. Paul's plans put America back on track with jobs created by the attractiveness of a re-regulated dollar to Constitutional Standards.  This immediately negates most of the inflation which means the dollars "buying power is increased."  This extra "buying power" folds back into the economy and repeats itself as people with extra money usually tend to spend it in some way or another. I digress; Mr. Ron Paul for 2012 Republican Nom and President Thank You  

• What I like about Congressman Paul is that he answers questions truthfully, and the answers may not be what you want to hear. So instead of automatically writing this man of high integrity off, maybe people should do more research into why he stands firm on his opinions. It is so easy to declare somebody as a nut, loon, whack-job, but really, this man appeals to the younger demographic because he challenges them to not accept what they've been told without research and debate. Always question, and if something seems "off", investigate. Too often politicians tell us what we want to hear...it's so easy to flip-flop....for his long-time desire to halt out-of-control spending and bring our troops home, this man gets my vote. 

• Check out his six-point plan for immigration. There's a sampling of the buffet of reasons to loathe Paul.

• Being anti-choice is an automatic FAIL for a potential presidential candidate as far as I'm concerned. Just look at the blows a woman's right to choose is taking in South Dakota at this very moment and ask who in their right, pro-choice, mind would vote for a person who advocates giving individual states MORE power to decide the issue.

•  He thinks abortion rights, affirmed by the Supreme Court, should be left up to the states.  Any other rights he'd like to delegate away?

• Coker, "I somehow dropped it" are your words.  Surely, if you can fix "barring/baring" to bearing after publication, you can remedy this little hick up.  Just add an 11th reason as per your reply and change the title to 11.  Or you can tack it place of Nolan Ryan.  If you really want to really hit the man's character include the youtube footage of him speaking with a mouth full o' food! • How convenient for you. A case of simply dropping a rather insignificant detail (considering our current state of affairs) of his political record.  Reasons #7 and #10 are clearly much more important.

• White owned business should have the right to allow only white customers...black owned businesses to allow only black customers. You get the best service from a store with people who share the same backgronds. If a white owner wanted to allow racial mixing, that's OK too, but should not be a requirement 

• He had been pro-death penalty but has said his years in Congress changed him and he know views it as financially irresponsible,  unreliable since innocents are some times killed, and unfair because blacks are three times more likely to be executed. But I admit that's as of 2009. If he's flip-flopped since then, show we where and I'll remove it.

• I originally had him anti-war at No. 1, but it looks like I somehow dropped it. Sorry about that. Make it 11 reasons.

• Love of guns? You mean he supports the Second Amendment and a citizen's right to defend himself. He also opposes the Federal government’s involvement with setting abortion laws. This would take the issue to the state level where it belongs. He doesn't like the Civil Rights Act because it takes power away from the States. He may not care for the homosexual community's personal life decisions but he is the only congressman who has routinely defended their right to liberty. Healthcare for all is only possible through more wealth which is the opposite of what our current governments' policies have brought to fruition.

• Cherry-pick much?  Didn't bother to mention that he was one of the few to vote AGAINST IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN back when it was "unpatriotic", aka he was against Americans dying BEFORE it was popular (a la Clinton, McCain, etc.).
