Legendary pro football star Terry Bradshaw announced yesterday in Louisiana that he recently spent a weekend at the Amen Clinic in Newport Beach.

The 62-year-old former Pittsburgh Steeler, who suffered several concussions during his 14-year career, hopes to correct short-term memory loss and poor hand-eye coordination.

The Amen Clinic sells itself as a place to treat ADD/ADHD, anxiety and depression, brain trauma, substance abuse and Alzheimers.

The clinic, which specializes in using brain imaging technologies, is owned by Dr. Daniel G. Amen, a physician and assistant professor at the UC Irvine School of Medicine. Amen is a prolific author, writing 27 books.

Bradshaw will continue to serve as a ditzy host of "Fox NFL Sunday."
