Whoa, Tink. Whoa.
Another year, another Disney-inspired burlesque show put on by Peepshow Menagerie. What year would be complete without watching Minnie Mouse strip down to her nipple tassels? Girl Talk performed at the Fox Pomona Theater, while the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa opened its doors for a pet-adoption fair called Pet Days. On Friday night, a candlelight vigil for Huy Pham (the Costa Mesa city worker who took his own life after learning of impending layoffs) took place. And finally, if you missed out on SXSW this year, see what you missed in our slideshow round-up.

A candlelight vigil took place at City Hall for Pham on March 18. Click here to see more images from the night.
Glassy-eyed and shocked, friends, co-workers and the community were stunned by the suicide of Costa Mesa Public Works Maintenance worker Huy Pham, who jumped from the roof of the Costa Mesa City Hall Thursday afternoon, after learning of impending lay-offs. The Friday twilight vigil helped bring the community closer during a tough time, as the City Council began sending lay-off notices to its staff as it decided to outsource most of the city's public services to close a budget gap.
