It's Official: Chuck DeVore Running for Board of Supervisors

​The worst-kept secret in Orange County politics is finally out: Chuck DeVore has finally announced he's serious about replacing pedo-priest-protector fan Bill Campbell on the Board of Supervisors.

DeVore announced it--where else?--on Twitter and will undoubtedly use the social-network platform (and Facebook) to raise funds and troops, as I documented in my profile on his ill-fated attempt to beat California Senator Barbara Boxer, an effort derailed by the fact he couldn't even win the Republican primary. Of course, since the Third Supervisorial District that he wants to represent is so overwhelmingly red, it'll be easier pickings for him.
