UPDATE, FEB. 1, 4:04 P.M.: The family of Cheryl Rose Wynn, the 48-year-old mother found in a pool of blood in a bedroom of her Orange home last year, is offering $50,000 for information leading to her killer.

Orange detectives report they have no leads, suspects or evidence in the  murder investigation, which was launched after Wynn's retired Los Angeles police-detective husband found her bleeding from stab wounds on Jan. 31, 2010.

"We are hoping that maybe the enticement of $50,000 will encourage someone to come forward if they know who was involved," Steve Wynn tells The Orange County Register.

He described his late wife as caring and giving. They resided in a two-story home in the 1200 block of North Palo Loma Place, near Elsinore Avenue. Besides her husband, she is survived by daughter Kristina D'Elia, 23, and grandson Nicholas, 3.

If you know anything that can help to kick-start the investigation, contact Orange Detective Aaron Towner at (714) 744-7456.
