Kim Rebar Henry, 56-Year-Old From Fullerton, Accused of Being Hate Graffiti Tagger
Kim Rebar Henry, 56, of Fullerton, was booked at the Orange County Jail on suspicion of felony vandalism and damage to property to violate civil rights for one of the Anaheim incidents.
Someone who saw surveillance video from one of the nine sites hit by a hate tagger or taggers called Santa Ana Police, according to a statement from Anaheim Police Sergeant Rick Martinez, who noted detectives from his agency arrested Henry this morning.
"This is still an active investigation," reads the statement, "and detectives believe she is responsible for all acts and will be asking the Orange County district attorney's office to file charges on all nine of these crimes."
Disturbing and often misspelled messages aimed at Catholics, Asians, Mexicans and African-Americans began popping up last month, generating widespread media attention.
