So much for the usual hot, summer-like Christmas in Orange County.
Residents and holiday visitors awoke here this morning to heavy, wet fog and temperatures hovering around 50 F. In fact, in many areas--including Santa Ana, Newport Beach, Irvine and Laguna Beach--visibility was about 100 feet at about 7 a.m.
