Celebrate the Day After Thanksgiving by Avoiding Seal Beach's DUI Checkpoint

​You're overstuffed with turkey, waterlogged with egg nog and slammed with yams--not to mention recovering from another forced dysfunctional family get-together. So, it might be tempting to bridge the day between Thanksgiving and a relaxing weekend with some of the dog that bit ya. Or, a litter of dogs. Or, a pound-full. But if you must get your drink on today through tonight, be aware of what's going on in Seal Beach.

The Seal Beach Police Department conducts a DUI and driver's license checkpoint from 8 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday on Pacific Coast Highway between 12th and Main streets.
