Van Tran Has Already Beaten Loretta Sanchez in One Race: Public Freudian Expressions!

freud.jpg
Fliers, mailers, posters, and even television ads currently litter the 47th Congressional District where incumbent Loretta Sanchez is battling Republican candidate (and currently State assemblyman) Van Tran in OC's political fight of the decade. Although Sanchez has far more campaign money, it seems Tran is winning the political poster war--I've see far more of his signs around SanTana, Anaheim, Garden Grove and other areas than I've seen signs for Sanchez.

Good for him! But is Tran betraying a bit of his own insecurities with how huge his signs are? Overcompensation for something? Consider the photo after the jump, taken on the 22 East exit ramp on Euclid Avenue in Garden Grove.

Apologies for the blurriness, but I was driving a stick shift at the time...
My, my, my, Mr. Tran! What a big...ego you have! And what big hopes! I've seen more than a few of these 'round town, while most of Loretta's signs are of the humbler size, a testament to her own confidence (overconfidence?) in this race. Oh, what fun!
