Maybe an Open-Carry law would slow this stuff down. I read today that the safest city (over 100,000 poplulation) in the U.S. is now in Texas. It would be great to read that a 77 year-old woman took down a Thug with one shot. Sure would lower the recidivism rate.

Comment by IHATEUSERNAMES: Not necessarily. The woman could be from Norway and the attackers could be dark Italians or Greeks. I doubt it, but it's possible.
Arabs and Asians are also dark complected but for some reason I don't think Asians would be committing this type of crime. They're more likely to use computers to steal grandma's money.
