Welcome to Buena Par--OUCH!

​An older model Honda sedan crashed into the "Welcome to Buena Park" sign at the Beach Boulevard exit of the 91 freeway Saturday evening.

Cops did not describe the damage to the illuminated sign hanging from two large pillars as a result of the 6 p.m. mishap.

That, of course, means we are free to speculate.

We'd imagine something like so . . .

Not the actual car and sign but an amazing facsimile

​Police believe the Honda's driver was attempting a high-speed pass of another car, but crashed into the sign instead.

One passenger suffered bruises and was taken to UCI Medical Center.
