What IS the issue with illegal immigrants today is that far too many of them demonstrate NO respect for the laws and culture of this country, state, and county. They do no invest themselves here -- but still carry on as if they are still in some fantasy Mexico. Gangbangers are NOT indigenous. Playing Jalisco mariachi at top volume while driving down the streets at any hour of night or day is NOT indigenous. Hanging around Home Depot or strip malls trying to solicit illegal work is NOT indigenous. Hispanic immigrants of all nations can keep their cultural roots here without infringing on the rights and public peace of others.
