Police Fear Dozens of Vietnamese Were Hit in The3Mien.com Money-Wire Scam

• This is not the end yet. Those who are using pre-paid phone cards or what's called Pinless long distance from Vietnamese companies may become victims one day. Does anyone know that Best Rate Communications before? They ran away with lots of money and people got lines in the front of their office on Bolsa Ave. They are now Deluxe Telcom. I believe you would recognize the gentleman named Huy - the owner of Best Rate Communications before. They have been doing business with a communist-assigned rep named Hoai An and they have been in little problem lately by closing the Rainbow Sound Cellphone store right on Bolsa Ave. Another company V247 or Saving Call will be soon in trouble because I have heard they are under investigation by the IRS for Tax Flaws. V247 as well as othe Vietnamese Telecom companies don't pay Sale tax and telecom taxes for the outbound traffic to Vietnam as they pay directly to Vietnam Telcos. In the US, they use what's called Local Access so they pay a flat rate for certain channels of voice. I think sooner later the mainstream telcos in the US will file law suites again those cheating companies. So be careful when you use pre-paid long distance. Try not to purchase too much at a time to reduce your risks. Good luck to all.

• If you lost your money on calling card & using the credit card for the payment, I think you can call your credit card and ask them to do a charge back on that transaction, just tell your credit card that website was closed & can't reach them. Hope this help.

• Not only Westminter California. There are some victims of THE3MIEN in Story Road Sanjose, California. I gave them $300.00 on 07/12/2010 to send money to my relatives in Viet Nam, untill today nothing happen. This is a big fraud to cheat people. Please investigate and bring THE3MIEN to justice. • My Mom and myseft have trouble with them too, they cheat us about $40, I called severtall time last two week and they told us will reopen for bussiness last Friday but nothin was happen. Please investergated these kind of bad company so Vietnamese can not lost face again. Thanks
