• Good Doc, I was attempting to highlight a double standard, whereby a purse snatching perpetrated by an illegal alien is viewed by some as a far, far worse offense than a Ponzi scheme run by some rich asshole who wears a shirt and tie. It's not exactly a secret that OC has a long and sordid history of white-collar crime, but you would not even know it based on the racist rantings of my lovely neighbors.

• Mr.Wade, It would seem logical to most that, nobody has a desire for any type of criminal activity,weather from "the sparkling towers of NPB" to the alleys of the innercity. It does appear that language nor politics (including english)proves to be no deterent when it comes to criminal activities

• Dr. Irv, white OC residents prefer that local criminal behavior take place in the sparking office towers of Newport Beach. It just makes everything easier when the criminals ruining people's lives speak English and vote the same way they do.

• Although I'm not a Compton resident,I find it interesting that you residents behind the so-called "Orange Curtain" appear to compare most evil acts to the aforementioned locale. Questios: Did the abducted 13yr old have a Compton connection? Did the young persons involved in the car accident (which cost an angels pitcher his life) have a Compton connection? Did Coronas'son? I bet you all could find a ton of "juicy" comparisons if you'd spend a day in Santa Ana.
