OC Church of Scientology Needs to Work on their Proselytizing

• Experts all agree. Scientology is a for profit enterprise; not a religion; Further it is a textbook cult in which a sharp division is made between those "in" and those "out". All the Scientology secrets, tactics, and crimes have been exposed by the internet. It's one of the few religions in the world whose numbers are shrinking.

• Gosh, I love it when Scientologists actually try to 'communicate' with wogs. They do the job of informing the public how whacked-out their cult is much better than Anonymous, Mark Bunker, Dave Touretzky, The Saint Petersburg Times, the BBC or Anderson Cooper ever could. This 'Diamond' one sounds like she's already under some serious stress, probably very worked up about the recent mass defections from corporate Scientology and the formation of splinter groups such as Marty Rathbun's "Independent Scientologists". I give her about 4-6 months before she blows and starts to whine on Marty's blog about how screwed up the 'Church' is. The Independents intend to become a Hubbard organization themselves, maybe try to reform the main group, but they'll never accomplish this. Once you get somebody out of the cult enviroment - takes some time, could be years - most of them eventually wake up more or less fully to the scam. That's what we call an "End Phenomenon", the final "cognition" of a Scientologist. HOLY CRAP I GOT RIPPED OFF!

• Nick Van Houser is obviously NOT a Scientologist, but someone posing as one (and dong it badly). His post is full of obvious one-liners that are either easily disproved and well known or are disturbing to the general public. No Scientologist would admit that Hubbard's eventual goal was for Scientologists to be the ones to determine what is right and wrong, i.e. be the ones making the laws and in charge of every part of government. Stewart is more obviously a Scientologist by his calling on the author's right to criticize by him not having read any basic material and calling anti-Scientology forums "hate forums." Those right there are two hallmarks of a genuine Scientologist trying to defend their beliefs and group.

• While I agree with Anonsoldier, and respect his wise statements, I would maintain that the "wins" are indeed a part of the issue. The reason is that these wins are shared and recorded and used to recruit new members. These wins are shared in scientology literature and in personal anecdotes, in essence a tacit promise that they can do the same. In essence, these personal anecdotes are used to bring in new recruits who want the same, they expect the same. And once the advertising brings them in, they are subject to the issues that AS brings up- and again, is it worth the cost for one's own gains? Of course, the only way to enjoy ones gains is to believe that all is well behind the scenes- that everyone's doing well, no one's abused, everyone's happy. But that belief relies on willfully closing one's eyes to the thousands and thousands of former members that were abused, or witnessed abuse, or took part in abuse. Or the many that committed suicide by any possible means, to include electrocution, jumping, train, gunshot, etc. Or ignoring the testimony of high-ranking scientologists that have spoken out, or David Miscavige's own neice, or the daughter of the top scientologist in australia- all speaking out against the human rights abuses that they are personally witnessing. Can you ignore all of those people, all of those victims, all of those corpses? The wins, the promises that are made, can vary. Sometimes, they are based on personal beliefs about themselves (and thus unverifiable), such as "I feel great" or "I'm more able". Sometimes, they're personal beliefs about things they can DO, but other people generally can't see (thus, again, unverifiable). But, both of these types are oft mentioned in order to lend credibility to the techniques that resulted in those wins. What's more, individuals are told that they can't obtain these more dramatic events right away, but must pay sums of money (and spend time in the group) prior to having the opportunity to see them. And they certainly are used in direct promotion, especially when ADVANCE! magazine was still publishing them: "Yesterday I missed dinner and was hungry. At 8:00 the other supervisor (OT) walked in with a piece of fried chicken and said 'here'. I asked her why she brought it. She said she just knew she should bring me a piece of chicken - that I was hungry. I was amazed!" "Some days ago I went to bed thinking that something should be done about earthquakes in California. What could it be? I had the idea of putting a tractor beam through the earth - east and west. I did it and put an anchor point at each end of the line and gave it a little nudge to be sure everything was snug. Almost instantly - there was a jolt and my bed dropped about 1/2 inch. WOW!" "I located the garage where the being was- actually a converted horse barn. I got in communication with him and convinced him that since I was the only one who 'saw' him (his mock-up), I must know something. I got him to accept the idea of taking a human body and becoming aware. I showed him the Scientology symbol and cross. Then I directed him to a hospital where there was a new body. Later that evening I got communication from the being. He was with his new, loving family - and already forgetting he was a horse." can I say that these are untrue? Certainly not. But the very common thread is that they are unable to be verified in any way, but they are presented as fact. As evidence, they site the way that they "feel" about what they're saying, without noting that insane people, brainwashed POW's, cult victims and very tired people are just as sure of their own facts. The difference is that, while I may have very specific memories of my childhood, if someone presents contrary information in the form of photographs, home video, etc, I would be remiss if I didn't assimilate this new data and adopt a more accurate view.

I sincerely say that. Congratulations. But the organization that brought you this something amazing is doing horrible things to its staff members and SeaOrg members. If a charity fed 1000 children in Africa, but did so by abusing and hurting and using as slave labor another 10 children, you would condemn that charity as horrible. That's what is happening here, but you aren't even helping that many people. People suffer physical and verbal abuse to the point where they kill themselves. People are locked into rooms and screamed at until they give more money to the Church of Scientology, money they literally can't afford to giveaway. People are cut off from their families and kept from speaking, writing, or communicating from them in any way for years and years on end. They are locked into rooms for hours and subjected to intense interrogations because management believes they have hidden crimes. All of that, so you can have your wins. I want you to think about that. I don't care if your wins are real or false, that has never been the issue. Can you do that for me? Can you even consider that? You say Scientology helps people, and I'm quite sure that many people believe they have been helped. But many people have been hurt by Scientology. Ask yourself, is their pain and suffering worth it?

• FredM, People leave because of overts. Go to the library find a SCIENTOLOGY ethics Book and read up on Blow Phenomena. IT will explain it. Go back in your mind to something you did as a Kid? Do you have the mental picture of it in your mind? Prove it to me? Your Certainty of self is all sanity is. Without your certainty or sanity, what else do you really have? Sanity is Certainty of self. We are making you completely sane in Scientology. The reactive mind contains too many false datums that keeps the rational mind from seeing and evaluating right. You know what you have done, you are the one that experienced it. Now mock up something and notice if you have any certainty in it, like something you know you experienced? You know the difference. Memory is one of the abilities we are giving you back in Scientology. The more you recall the easier and easier it gets once you get the trama and pain run off, you pictures get more and more clear and pictures you couldn't see before now come into view. We look at an insane person who is dramatizing something of there past, their past is more real than present time is to them. They are just stuck in an insident of there past. In Scientology we just pring them into the present time and they are again sane. All of us are to some degree stuck in lots of incidents of our past. Scientology by running out the trama in them , gets your attention off them and brings you back into Present time (PT) With those attention units now in PT you are more here and survive better and can see more of the truths of existence. You are where your attention is... In a Spiritual Viewpoint, most of our attention are stuck in our past lives. We bring you back into the present and so you can now see what really is instead of fighting the Martians or what ever incidents one is stuck in. There are tons of incidents you run out as you do the bridge. That is why you can run out at OT VIII in a few minutes things that took you a year and a half at OT VII. Your memory gets very good as you go up the bridge. Again it is something one has to experience to be true to him. This may help, from personal experience on the way to CLear you do run , at least for me alot of Past life memories. It don't matter how far back they are, when you recall them , it brings back a lot of other memories, sensations and feelings that you will recognize. At first run them for theraputic value, when they start comming real , you will know with certainty. After all they are your memories or your experiences. Getting back the abilities you forgot will start comming at that point too, that will give you the most proof to at least your self. There is nothing more facinating, that is why people who are not in Scientology haven't a clue as to what they are missing out on. There is a reason people pay big bucks, no one is forcing them, dispite what your told. To me it is very addicting, you want to know so darn bad the rest of the story, once the story starts to become real... There is nothing more fascinating than the story of YOU. When that truth gets out, Everyone will be in Scientology. It is just a matter of time. Too many people think the world is Flat right now, we have a lot of opposition. I see it fading more and more each year. I have been around 35 years. When I got in, you spoke of Dianetics, as Past life was tabu. It still is to some, but the greater majority are more open to it now. Our fixed ideas are leaving man so he will wake up. I predict before 2013. • If nothing else, answer me this one small question: why are you unable to answer simple questions? That's not an insult, but you continue to return to your beliefs and present them as fact, rather than giving respect to other people's beliefs of dealing in the works of verifiable facts. • Mark, It is a personal realization that Man is trapped at the Level of Man as he is insane. He cannot see what keeps him Man. When you die you will know your a Spirit, but if you knew that NOW Wow what a difference it makes. You could get back your own memory and know without dying, thanks to LRH. You are really a Spiritual Being having a Human experience. When you die Scientology will become real. If one follows the exact path of The Bridge, little by little he will have realizations that are earth shattering, literally. The physical level is of of a lower Frequency. The bodies eyes can only see so much truth. Real knowledge begins as you gain the ability to go exterior. You are a Spirit, you have a body and you have a Mind, You need neither. Look at the revelations you will have in Scientology as a Rod Sterling show where Spirits who were what man considers Gods, created this level, then forgot he created it and then came down into what he created and then forgot, to have a human experience. To play a Game. Man The Spirit is not of this world. He poseses Powers and Abilities 1000's of years beyond the level of Man, Man was never to have figured it out. Then one day after many incarnations LRH figured it all out and developed a way to get rid of that Negitive mind that holds all the negitive experiences that keep man predudiced to seeing the exact truth to things. He figured out how to rid a person of it and let him see the real truth of Existence, which is all sanity is, being able to see the truth to things. Everyone has a reactive mind until they get rid of it and at that point it will be Clear that he is a Spirit and is able to start getting in touch with his real self and getting access of the real knowledge that the Being poseses. There you have it Scientology. Sounds like a real Science fiction story to Man, but wait till you start to Grow!!! When you run out the pain, which causes Amnesia, hatrid, evil and insanity or the ability to see what is, one starts to realize he is on a path of adventures of real knowledge, not the knowledge that has only served to trap him to the Pyhsical level for a very long time. That is the Religious Part, you kind of have to believe till you can experience if for yourself. Which it is observable to all who travels the Bridge. I had an OBE when I was 12 and it became real then, so Scientology was very real to me, what they were dealing with. It is so exciting... It is a personal journey, many people have experienced it. I know what I know as a CLear and I know anyone not out side of there body will NOT see what I can see, I will not even be able to tell them what I see as they have no concepts in there mind in which I can even relate. So one can't. There is a Spiritual Body of Knowledge that does indeed exist, to the insane Man he will never see it, till he starts the journey of Fixing his Mind. What he discovers is why people pay hundreds of 1000's of Dollars to go up that Bridge of Spiritual Knowledge. People do confessionals and experience relieve in mans Religions too. Scientology has the tech to take one past track and get all of there Sins off. Sins is why your separated from God ya know. There is something to it. We call them Overts and witholds, they blind people in any area that they are commiting Overts in. Scientology can pull those overts and give back man his Spiritual insight. In the past the tech wasn't complete enough to catch those who were not honest and they did get thru and they did false attest as the human feelings of personal achievement to impress others made them attest. They are still feeling human emotions and so will not be able to see the complete whole truth, which is not fully attained till one is an OTVlll. Since the RTC that will never happen again. There is alot of information to have in order for Scientology to make sence to one. I am not there yet, but I know what I know and Know that the world will be better off if people had at the least the level of knowledge tht one will achieve at the state of Clear. Man will destroy himsle without this higher ability and knowledge, this I know. So I speak, You can look at me as crazy, and yes I still am , I am not an OTV111 yet. There are 7 other Dynamics or areas of life to be Cleared, I am Clear on my first Dynamic. Knowing ones goals and purposes and reason he is hear is part of being Clear. If people knew why they were here they would find that things come to gether, if they don't know life tends to fall apart. I know the difference in my life knowing my purpose , than the way my life was before. So I speak out to the ones who are suffering, I know they needent be. Perhaps I am not very good at communicating my intentions, hopefully I will get better at it thru the years, as that is my purpose to let my fellow man know that they could manifest better things into there life if they were CLear. Man needs the hope. I don't mean to sound derogatory as that serves no purpose but as a Clear you can see the levels of insanity in Man. If they are blind and they are, they cannot see, so it is a difficult job trying to get the Blind to see, especially when they haven't a clue they are Blind. If your still in your body, then you are Blind. I hope you have a Near death experience or an out of Body experience to have a clue of what there is to become aware of. It will change ones life guaranteed. I just know if one pursues the Bridge in Scientology, he will be exterior and know it and know that man knows nothing, but thinks he knows everythng. I know he knows nothing of the real Universe, the Spiritual. I am ot at least interested in physical knowledge and am probably very ignorant, but I know of the Spiritual. It is time he found out who he is, so please understand I do this to help you, as I know you haven't a clue, as your fighting me. You have to get all the pain, misemotion,attitudes, sensations and amnesia out of ones mind to see what things really are, as man will just argue till he does, that serves no purpose. What I am telling you to go find out about, is a very exact route to Spiritual Freedom. Man will not see the truth and will argue. Look at all the religions and ways of the past. LRH figured it out, it was impossible to do, but as you do you gain an incredible level of respect for the Man. Man was not meant to escape the Spiritual Alcatraze, as you are slowly breaking out, do you realize his Genius. I realize it so I am standing up for him. It is like telling the world it is round when they think it is flat. If you would honestly look and become Clear yourself you would become sane enough to start breaking away from the agreements of the Physical Universe, which is what traps us. Agree with Man (mans Knowledge)and you will remain trapped, just know that. Man know not of who he really is...

• Diamond, I'm certainly glad that you and the subject if the letter you posted FEEL better due to Scientology, but if that's all you can offer, feelings, you leave us with a hard pill to swallow. • How do you know the intended audience, John? Regardless, you should learn to see the humerous nature and intent of some things, then you won't be so aggressive.

• This news article is a lie. I am a Scientologist and I know for a fact that this postcard was meant for Scientologists only. The postcard is asking Scientologists to join staff from the viewpoint that they are already a Scientologist. It was not sent to homes across la naranja. It makes sense only for someone who is a Scientologist. If it was sent to this guy by accident then he somehow got on the mailing list or did some study course where he gave his address. He could also be outright lying and he found it on the street outside a church and assumed it was mailed to everyone. Looks more like a flier than a postcard. Where is the recipients address?? It is not asking people to join Scientology!! It is asking Scientologists to join staff there! Wow, once again someone not understanding something they read about Scientology. You can respond to me with derogatory comments all you want but those are the facts.

• I would also point out that the "advanced" blackbelt information is FREE, available to anyone, and no one will deny it exists. This is a very big difference between the metaphor and the realities of scientology. What's more, if you choose to study independent under a skilled black belt expert WITHOUT spending a quarter million dollars to some corporate structure, no one will judge you, mock you, or refuse to recognize your training. Another difference.

• "The average will never know what the levels that a black belt does, unless he does them. A black belt telling you won't mean anything, as it is the drills that give one higher abilities." No, a black belt doesn't have "higher abilities", he merely has a better understanding of fundamentals and theory. Attaining the level of black belt does not confer upon an individual "abilities", it is a recognition of an individuals capability. There is a difference. The theory of martial arts is an exceedingly complex subject, with a variety of nuances. The very fact that you attempt to use it in a simplistic analogy to try and explain Scientology demonstrates your own lack of understanding. FLUNK.

• Alan, "If you can see that a mechanic with one years experience is not as able as one with 35 years, then you should see one can get more able." I disagree. A mechanic with one year of experience MAY not be as able as one with 35 years. However, the quality of that year's experience versus the quality of that 35 years of experience weighs heavily in the judgement. A man who has only been a mechanic for one year, but has been a mechanic at a major auto shop and been involved on repair jobs of all sorts on all types of vehicles will be FAR more able than a man who has only been a mechanic on his own personal car for 35 years. The man of 35 years will know the insides and outs of his own car exceedingly well, but the man with one year of experience will have a great breadth of knowledge on all things mechanical and can easily apply that knowledge to any type of car. So, your analogy, through its vagueness, is wrong.

• For all the sane people out there, I'm attempting to communicate with Alan in his native Scientologese. It is a very complex language, filled with jargon and single-mindedness. Whereas others communicate with variation in expression, content, and some level of emotion, the Scientologist does not. Their message is singleminded, hence why Alan can't answer. His intent isn't to answer, so he won't. He won't because he can't. L Ron Hubbard, whose instructions he follows as gospel, said "Always attack, never defend." So while we question his most rudimentary claims such as 10 million Scientologists, that the state of Clear as defined by LRH is a lie and no one has attained it, or even his basic assumptions on "knowing", his only reply can ever be to call us insane. He cannot debate, he cannot question, he cannot think for himself. That is what it means to be a true Scientologist. Alan is a Scientologist defined, a paragon of their kind. Would that I could put him on television and let him ramble on and on while a panel of former members harangued and corrected him at every turn and every lie or mistruth (and there would be many). Please, people, do some research and learn about this destructive cult. So many wish the world to be a better place, and we can make it happen with small steps. Step one: get rid of the cult.

• Fred, Read Chapter 8 in the Dianetics Book, my examples are not communicating. If you can see that a mechanic with one years experience is not as able as one with 35 years, then you should see one can get more able. You are an eternal Spirit and you can get back your memory with Dianetics and Scientology you have a wealth of experience to draw upon. It can become real if you do the levels in Scientology, if not you can just sit and agree with the average and remain average. I know what I have achieved and what I can do and I am happy with it. You can listen to the ones who failed at Scientology and think it is not possible. It is very hard to do, it takes disciplain, it is easy to false attest, if one is not honest. Those are the failed Scientologist. Listen to them and you will fail. You have to go to Scientology to realize what Scientology is. You make the choice. It is worth checking out, that is all I am going to say. You do have to be extemely honest, which is a Spiritual Ability most don't have much of, so it is very easy to fail, doing Spiritual healing. Scientology is of the Spiritual nature, you have to do it to know about it. The gains will blow your mind, but only you will know by doing the levels. The average will never know what the levels that a black belt does, unless he does them. A black belt telling you won't mean anything, as it is the drills that give one higher abilities. Scientology is made up of lots of drills. You never hear of them, yet that is all Scientology is... So most will never have a clue of what Scientology is, just like the average will never have a clue of what a 7th degree black Belt knows, but I assure you he has lots of abilities. The abilities you achieve in Scientology, is Cause over the material and Life... You are a Spirit, expect miracles, thats Scientology you idiots put down. Don't bother me I tried to help and you make little of me, find out for your self....

Were you aware that Hubbard never directly left Miscavage in control of scientology? Scientology raises ones tone level, so they can have the prosperity that this abundant universe can give to the high toned. Reward the low toned and you just get more Criminals, people who expect something for nothing. Society does that and is why society is going down. Reward production and you get more production and sanity. None production creates criminals and insanity. People who will not work will go insane. If you do the right things you will become successful. If you do the wrong things you will fail. 95% of the average person fails, as they don't know and do the wrong things. Except, when staff and SeaOrg Scientologists yell and physically abuse people, its because the institution is set up that way. L Ron Hubbard came up with the idea of "overboarding", they're just implementing his doctrine. When they coerce people into disconnecting from friends and family, it's LRH policies that created Disconnection and instructs them in how to apply it. When they hardsell people who are broke and have two mortgages, it's LRH policy. When they attack critics, create lies about their former members, harass people with litigation and private invesitgators? That's LRH policy. This isn't about just one or two people, this is about an entire institution, an entire organization, that is destructive and criminal. Not because of who's in it, but because of who created it. You don't just arrest one or two people in the Mafia, you dismantle the whole thing.

They initially denied the application, but after threats of a lawsuit (BIIIIG surprise there), they reconsidered their position, but upheld their original decision because CCHR was not established to benefit the public, but to push a particular one-sided agenda.

• Mark, It was New Zealand that denied CCHR their non-profit status, saying that it was non-profit and not to the public's benefit. This is the group whose members have bragged about putting men and women out of work because of their profession. This is the group that marched on a protested a peaceful psychiatry convention. This is the group that was forced to pay substantial libel damages to Sir Martin Roth of Newcastle University for allegations that the court found to be "highly defamatory" and "utterly false." This is a group that caused untold harm during the 9/11 disaster by blocking access to -real- mental health care, even hiding their affiliations to get their phone number posted on a major news network (it was pulled when the lie was discovered). This is the group that offended thousands of 9/11 survivors by blaming the attacks on "psychs". This is the group whose president has been implicated in covering up sexual abuse. Do they have good points? absolutely- there are SOME psychiatrists and SOME drug companies that are out for a profit. But it's elitist and horrible to slander an entire profession because of those "bad apples", which are also ostracized by their professional peers when they are found to be acting in such a way. In fact, there are countless psychiatrists and similar people that are fighting against these abuses. And they're doing it without hatered, without fearmongering and without putting innocent families out on the street by forcing their livelihood to close. That's just horrible. In any profession, you'll find corruption. You'll find police officers on the take. You'll find teachers sleeping with students. You'll find politicians taking bribes. • Allow me to be more specific- much like constructive criticism- one of the many services I offer. I have provided you with many verifiable facts and concepts, although you have not addressed them nor provided any of your own. Now, I could go into great depth as to how the most useful aspects of scientology were taken from existing theories and belief systems, but I fear that it would not be recieved to any noticable degree. I could also go into depth about the existing misconceptions, and discuss the Oxford Personality Assessment (such as bringing up the fact that the man that developed the test for Hubbard recently came public saying that it's an inaccurate assessment, or that the scientific community has debunked the test), but that, too, would not be heard. It does work for your purposes, but the purposes seem to be more recruitment than anything else (that's not my opinion, that's a matter of legal opinion). But ask yourself, have you ever seen a positive test? Probably not. In fact, a young lady recently committed suicide after receiving her results. CCHR? That's a frightening organization. have you seen their website? It's full of one-sided information and partial truths. That's the reason that the CCHR was recently denied a public charity status in (if memory serves) poland. "as I know what it did for me, I only mean well as I know there are so many misconceptions of Scientology" And bless you for that- I'm very glad that it works for you. But you have a duty, as do we all, to share accurate information if we will share any at all. Those of us that will defend our points of view in a public forum, in which people may find while trying to make a decision of their own, are well advised to research and consider both sides. But I close with this thought- if Hubbard is indeed "source", how do you reconcile his request for mental health support through the VA office, his lies about his military service, and his three failed marriages (assuming one considers infidelity and having a wife in prison to be failures)?

• Yes Mark, When I was on Staff I used to evaluate them. They were very acurate for our purposes. I knew all about a person before I saw them. Our critics don't include all the data as they want Scientology to fail. But you have to read a Book that is about an inch and 3/4 thick that gives you the chart of Human evaluations and where one is at on the Emotional Tone scale. It is called Science of Survival. With that information you would be shocked how accurate You can become at finding out just where a person is at and why his life goes the way it goes for the person. That doesn't sound like being at cause. One building opens, but another closes. They claim to be opening new buildings all the time, but never say that they're closing others just as fast. What happened to all the old Orgs? The ones that were around in 2008? Gone. Shut down. Some never relocated. You talk about feelings and beliefs, and you only ever talk about you, you, you. You're selfish, uncaring about others, and devoid of feelings. People get beaten, screamed at, cut off from their families, coerced into giving every penny in the world they own to the Church of Scientology, but you don't care about them or anyone else...just so long as YOU GET WINS. Congratulations, you will continue to get wins for all eternity while the Church of Scientology tries to destroy humanity. It's having "Freedom Mag" reveal personal details of their former members (as do you, calling them "enemies"), including details revealed in supposed confidence and mocking them, calling one the "adultress". It's horrible sites like "religious freedom watch", which at one time offered a bounty for information on their enemies. It's scientologists like OTVIII Rex Fowler which stole a quarter million dollars from his employees and gave it to scientology, then eventually murdered the one employee that stood up to him (a military vet... on his son's birthday) and then tried, unsuccessfully, to kill himself. It's the convictions for Fraud in France. It's the fact that Scientology is the only organization to be convicted, as a whole, in Canada, based on their harrassment and crimes against their "enemies". It's the records on "enemies" that were found in a raid on a scientology org, to include judges and public officials. It's the countless lawsuits and court cases. And that's not even scratching the surface! "Only Clears and OTs will survive about what is about to happen. Sounds exciting, but are you aware that the upper level materials have been leaked by former high-ranking members, and verified to be accurate by scientology lawyers in court? This, of course, was not expected to be public as scientology petitioned to seal the records, but the judge granted a 24 hour public viewing, during which time scientologists crowded the office in an attempt to prevent the information from getting out. Some people, however, did get it. "The Xenu incident our enemies use to disredit us" Do you believe the "xenu incident" to be true, as Ron Claimed? "Many Scientologists are experiencing getting Clear and OT" In control of their lives? Great. Millions of self-help book followers and members of other religions feel exactly the same. But has anyone, ever, demonstrated the abilities that ROn said that a clear or OT would have? Even one? Again, a scientologist may be content to offer what they "feel" as proof, but the world- the rest of the people, don't work that way. If I can "FEEL" the same way for free, and BELIEVE certain things to be true for free, way pay a quarter million dollars for it? Or, if I want to be a scientologist, why not go freezone and get the tech for a fraction of the cost?

• Hey guys I'm just a regular Joe, who has achieved enlightenment thru the processes of Scientology. I am not on Staff. I did achieve the State of Clear and it is a very real State. I did have such a big realizations that for 3 days I operated exterior to my body. This is my reality, for what it must be to be OT. I haven't achieved that State yet so I don't know. If Scientology can get me to be that way all the time, then there is no money value on it, as I was totally extroverted, what I thought about came about almost immediately and it was a totally incredible experience. I knew at that point that what I held in my mind came about. So I understood why prayer, meditation, chanting and self sacrifice works. This is a belief based Universe. That put me at a much higher level of understanding. When you go clear you blow the reactive mind. It is what keeps Spiritual Beings pinned to a body and this Physical level. I know that to be true. One has to grow to get real understanding. Where your at is where your at on the growth curve of Life. Full understanding will free you and return to you, your knowledge of the Spiritual making you command over it and your life. That is my observation. You can still have your viewpoint but I know what I know. That is all certainty is and Certainty is the base of being able to do anything, and in my mind that is all that is important. I know you can do anything. Your own mind is what stops you. Scientology to me Fixes ones mind You could play the game of life at Serenity of Beingness. That is about 40 tone levels above enthusiasm. How do you make that real to a society stuck near body death at Apathy? Apathy is all that is real, doom and gloom is all that communicates. That religious experience happened to me in 1979. It has still impact on my life today as I can see the truth to things. Average Man can't see, so he suffers. I know that, I can't make it real to him that he is carrying a very heavy load of bricks around with him trying to survive. Give the Wino his shot of wine and he is happy, that is all that is real to him. You can see it, he can't. Give Average Man his shot of materialism and he is happy, that is all that is real to him. A trained Scientologist can see that, he can't. One's mind allows them to see only where they are stuck at. If you were at the perception level to see UFO's you would see them, millions have saw them. Scientology will raise your perception to levels where you will get a totally diffferent reality than where most are stuck at. It is a very good thing if you really want the real truth. Man remains Man as he is denied the real truths. Fixed ideas trap him. Fixed ideas is not knowledge. What can I say? That is real to me, as I understand so much more of the Spiritual and what it is really all about. To me that is my goal and thru Scientology I am achieving it, so Please quit trying to destroy it. You have to be totally honest to make the gains there are to be made and yes one always has to make themselves right , by wronging Scientology, that is just how the mind works. But I have my reality, Scientology was the only thing that ever gave me that reality and I have tried for years as the first time I went out of my body , I was only 12 years old and was searching for many years to find out what happened that standard religions only said it was the work of the Devil. I knew they had never been exterior before. It is a very real State of Being. In fact if a Being was in good shape it would be ones Native State. You do have within your memory such experiences. A good auditor will help you locate them. If you insist on believeing things, believe that. Once you locate you will have total Certainty. Certainty is all Sanity is. Again we are but Insane Spiritiual Beings, with Amnesia. Scientology runs out the pain and gets off the amnesia. If you only knew that to be true, like I do... The Physical Universe is a universe based on a very low Reality. The real Universe is the Spiritual. The Physical Universe is really very Johnny come lately and is a Trap for Spiritual Beings. You are a Spiritual Being I know that. I know most of you who fight Scientology Don't have a clue of what Scientology is about. • Mark, There were precious few "free sessions" when I was on staff for 8 years, but they did occasionally happen. For a while, Orange County had a Universe Corps that was designed to get staff to OT, but that was disbanded in 1998 (after 10 years).

• Hi Diamonddille, so points on what you have said: "Auditing Works, the State of CLEAR and OT is very real. If society was at those higher levels we wouldn't destroy our selves again. If we don't get society back at his Native State again, Our Bloody history will repeat itself for sure." I wouldn't argue with you that if everyone in society practised peace, tolerance and harmony the world would be a much better place but I question "his Native State". It's not that I don't understand what you mean by that, I do, it's just that what you understand is incorrect. Humans are animals and much of their behaviour is instinctive. Society is operating at its native state now, it has never been any better though it has been worse. As to the states of "CLEAR" and "OT" as you understand them, well yes one can achieve enlightened states however one does not need scientology to achieve them, indeed one can only achieve them without scientology because while the definitions of those two states in scientology could be said to apply to real states of enlightenment scientology itself doesn't actually lead there, it's just an illusion. All the simple wins you've are perhaps improvements for you and there is no doubt you can improve with scientology to a degree but the fact is the same improvements can be achieved far cheaper and easier than with scientology. Why do you think there are so many great people and yet none of them are scientologists? Are you on staff I wonder or Sea Org or public? I wonder if you are one who gives more of their money or more of their time. I wonder if you have ever witnessed staff getting angry with each other, shouting or abuse within an org. Tempers get short when the pressure is on to get stats up for Thursday at 2pm. That behaviour is not enlightened, people who are enlightened don't need to behave like that to get things done. It is okay to doubt. It is okay to question. It is okay to challenge authority. Except if you are a scientologist. It's also okay to troll for the lulz.

• I was in scientology for several years as a child (during the 1990's when my mum was a scientologist). It was the most disturbing and horrific time of my life. I do not blame my mum. Like most ordinary scientologists, she is actually a very gentle and well intentioned person. The ORGANIZATION, however, is corrupt, deceitful and ruins families. It ruined my childhood. As a 9 year old, I was hooked up to a machine (an "e-meter) and asked what crimes I had comitted. I was asked if I had ever destroyed a civilization, comitted genocide and I was asked about the sexual history of my "past lives". I didn't even know what sex was! I was made to feel guilty and ashamed of things I have never done. Amazingly, the scientologists CHARGED us money for this process. For those of you who are non- scientologists, these are various courses and services the Church offers.. All of us GOT OUT Of the church in 2008 and never looked back. That was the best decision ever! All of us were heavily in debt in the end. It took us several years to recover... Now I am running an extremely successful business, making more than $500K last year, ten times higher than my income level when I was a scientologist! I am finally more connected with my children whom I have neglected over the years in the past. The Church had me believe that going up the Bridge was my entire focus. It will enhance my survival and better my other Dynamics etc. So I used up all my money and spent every free minute I had to be in the Church, either on Services or Courses, time I could have spent with my wife and children.. Go into a Scientology or Dianetics Center and see how many books are written on the subject of Life and the Mind and realize Scientology may very well be a real Science of MIND or LIFE. Realize 95% of most people fail at what ever subject they study. Only the 5% really are successful at any subject, you fill in the blank. To those that failed at duplicating Scientology, having failed by making it wrong only shows there stupidity to those that did duplicate it. • Nick, really look around. Look, don't listen to the org. 1) Narconon's a crock. Look at their real stats. Look at how many Narconons have folded. Look at their failures. 2) Other people, even some psychiatrists, object to over-drugging. Despite what you may wish to believe, some of those drugs, correctly used, do in fact help people. 3) Scientology Volunteer Ministers do help people, but they sure don't help more than the Red Cross. 4) There are not 12 million Scientologists. There's been an essentially constant number of orgs since 1984. There's fewer missions now than there were in 1981. 5) Define "fastest-growing" -- because Scientology Orange County used to have five times the staff (and, by the looks of it, five times the public and more than five times the revenue) that it has now. (That was in 1988 when it went St. Hill Size, btw.) 6) Read KSW, specifically the part about attacks: Trouble spots occur only where there are "no results".
