Vote for Ken Calvert--on Nov. 8!

• At long last, much of S.OC is realizing what we in Corona have known for years...our home-grown incumbent is a self-serving, life-long politician, lining his own pockets at our expense... BTW fellow surfrider members;KC is a proponent of 241 extension...guess who is a big contributor to his campaign??? The owners of the Toll Roads.

• Clean up Washington! Vote out Ken Calvert!

• Dear "Real:" I am not the Hedrick campaign and am not associated with the campaign -- just a south OC voter who is tired of the non-representation we get from Kenny-boy. Ken's right-wing blather is not what this district needs. We need a REAL representative who will listen to us, who will show up in the district once in a while, and will vote for the PEOPLE, not the fat cats. But Ken never will. He may not lose in November, but Pelosi will see to it that his safe district disappears in 2012. Wave buh-bye, Kenny!

• The Calvert campaign is following its usual MO of throwing red meat and fear-mongering at the constituency. It's well-past time to eject Calvert from Congress. He has repeatedly proven that he works for no one but himself and his very wealthy cronies. And if that wasn't enough, let's not forget about his presence on the "Most Corrupt Members of Congress" list for four years running. This guys is stupid and dirty, and he needs to be voted out.

• It's not surprising that the Hedrick campaign and its backers would rather talk about silly things like website errors and post comments under false monikers on a day when we learned the unemployment rate in Riverside County rose from 14.0% to 14.5% and in Orange County it rose from 9.2% to 9.5%. Rep. Calvert and other Republicans in Congress stand ready to pay for an extension of unemployment benefits that is paid for with unspent funds from the failed stimulus bill.

• Whoops! This is what happens when you're too busy voting against extending unemployment benefits for unemployed Americans!

• I hope each and every Calvert supporter remembers to vote for him on November 8.
