• sorry to hear that yankee but the kkk didn't invent the Confederate flag and, well, when you see a guy in a sheet waving it, well, it is he who is the racist, not the flag. Gotta be careful not to fall into the trap of stereotyping a person if they fly or support the Confederate flag, there are plenty more folks out there who are proud of their Southern and Confederate Heritage. Don't allow skinhead racists to make your mind up on the meaning of the flag. That would be a travesty.

• I don't know anonymous. Why don't you ask them? And while you are at it, ask them why they fly the US flag as well. They certainly have no right to determine the meaning of either the Confederate or US flags. Only the Confederate Veteran, and now their Sons in the Sons of Confederate Veterans, had and have the right to say what that flag stands for and it is certainly not hatred or racism.

• Sorry, but the Confederate flag has no place and nothing in common with those other symbols. The flag represents the sacrifice of the Confederate Veteran.
