Will Carnival Smoking Ban Reach the Port?
What's that? Carnival's tub has a cigar lounge? Yep, that's true, but the cruise line is experimenting with a total smoking ban.

John Heald replied the line has tried out the smoking bans on three ships that include the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Alaska as ports of call (but not Long Beach, thank God).
The problem with firing up stogies, according to Carnival spokespeople, is guests have to pass through the stinky lounge to get to certain parts of the ships.
One of them, Tim Gallagher, has revealed his company, which is considered among the most lenient when it comes to allowing puffing, is now seeking passenger input about the test ban, which will inform how officials move forward.
But one wag has apparently asked, "What's next? Banning swimming in the swimming pool?"
