• I love this because if Obama hadn't fired McChrhrystal instead, all the Republicans would be complaining Obama is "weak" and that he should've fired him! It really doesn't matter what action Obama took, Hugh Hewitt was planning to bash him anyway. What speakers like Hewitt are failing to understand is that despite their repeated and loud whining, the majority of Americans don't agree with him. The backlash is a comin'! I hope Republicans keep being such outspoken idiots, it actually helps the Democratic cause come election day when the normal, moderate poeple quietly come out to cast their votes against this ugly anti-president and anti-American rhetoric, simple because they are tired of it.

• The President does not deserve to get slammed. Of course, you MUST fire the general for insubordination. Any one in the military understands chain of command. It had to be done. • This is not a left or right argument. The president deserved to get slammed. You don't fire the General; not with less than a year before they start pulling out. General Petraeus has a totally different outlook on how the ground game should be played in Afghanistan. And all you "lefty's" out there, this should make you livid. Your candidate who was COMPLETELY against these wars throughout the campaign is now sending in the man who lives by this slogan, "Shock and Awe" You were all lied to by this president.
