Another Chance to Go Riding Bikes With the Dutch

​We told you here about Long Beach filmmaker Michael Wolfgang Bauch's Riding Bikes With the Dutch playing during last month's Long Beach Bicycle Festival.

If you missed that screening, you get another chance to see it at 7 tonight in the same place as the earlier event: the historical Art Theatre.



While living in Holland, Bauch and his family adopted the Dutch bicycle-riding lifestyle. When they returned to Long Beach, he wondered why that lifestyle would not work here.

Fortunately, there were already official efforts under way to make Long Beach more bike friendly. Bauch hopes his film helps keep the momentum going.

Tonight's encore screening will be followed by a short question and answer period with the filmmaker.
