by jauxmama: people take the bus to work and to school. If folks
are out of work, ridership will dip. It doesn't mean that services are
no longer required or that the dip is permanent or that it means some
sort of indictment of mass transit. Rufus, the racist, hates that
Hispanics ride the bus and would prefer them to drive their cars,
whether they can afford insurance or not. Short-sighted thinking isn't
really "thinking" at all.
