OCMS Healing Leaves and Homes Tied to the Fountain Valley Medical Pot Clinic Are Raided

• Mike, In November all voters WILL have the opportunity to have the law changed as the initiative to legalize marijuana will be on the ballot. I would love to hear that "all knowing ones" statement of facts were in fact true. It would just support my "Question Authority" view, and again show how Law Enforcement has little credibility. The problem is that when these cases are dismissed by the courts we do not hear about it.

• I think it fair to assume that Matt's heart was in the right place in this case if the facts are as stated by others here. I still stand by my comments though. To many use pot for recreational purposes and this only hurts those that could really benefit from the good it brings. To bad it is illegal but if you think that it is safe then get the laws changed.

• Another misleading story provided by �alleged� credible sources (the Fountain Valley Police Department and the Orange County Register). Let�s get the facts straight�.the complaints were from city representatives and not the general public�the large sum of cash was actually $800 in personal saving �the hash was actually plant clippings about to be used for cannabis butter�the meth was actually a GNC Dietary Supplement�and the guns were actually of the antique variety belonging to one of the roommates of the director and not the director himself. The simple fact is this is a case of a city that doesn�t want a medical cannabis dispensary in their backyard. Fountain Valley issued a moratorium for medical marijuana dispensaries in March 2010 after this dispensary opened its doors to patients.

• People commenting on an "alleged" report. Who even wrote this article in the first place? The story isn't even true, I suggest the reporter and the idiots that comment on their false articles get their story straight and know all of the facts before writing a ridiculous and bogus article for the public to view. Interesting how with all those alleged findings by the police no arrests were made...because it isn't true.

• Mike, LOL @ cheap...it's pricey and you can still get busted.

• You know, I would not have a problem if they were really there for the benefit of those with AIDS or going through cancer treatment. The fact is that the majority of those using the pot are just stoners looking for a cheap way to get high without getting busted. I know because there are a number of persons I have talked to and they are the ones abusing this loophole. Here is the sad fact, they are ruining it for those that could really benefit from the stuff. The law likely would agree with me on this point. I would also bet that the vast majority of law enforcement would rather be doing real police work but this is the way it is thanks to those that abuse it.
